I was doing a bit of digging into the story of the university snowflakes up in Manchester who are banning clapping because it may be ‘triggering’ to some and unhelpful to those who are deaf, found this wonderful comment on the story from a user of Mumsnet.

In a comment issued in response to the ‘clap ban’ story the Mumsnetter called ‘Titsywoo’ said:

“We Will Rock You won’t be quite the same”

I had to laugh at that and the image of a bunch of snowflake students who have been bred to be frightened of their own shadows, doing the ‘jazz hands’ bit where the clapping track on We Will Rock You should be.
