This thwarted terror attack smells distinctly of Islam

Islam a 'religion of peace'? Like hell it is.

I try not to label terrorists or potential terrorists as Islamic until I can at least get some evidence, such as a name for the alleged offender or offenders, to show that they are Muslim. However on this occasion even without a name for the alleged perpetrators, there is enough circumstantial evidence in the form of the area in which the alleged attackers were arrested and the potential target, to say that there is the distinct smell of Islam about this one.

According to a report on the 6th July in the Daily Mail, police announced that they foiled a major vehicle and knife attack on a public event. This attack could have killed dozens and injured many more. The target of the attack was potentially the LGBT Pride event that was held in London on Saturday. This is a mass attendance event with many people enjoying themselves and to a large extent letting their guard down and it it is horrifying to think of the potential death toll that would have been caused had a London Bridge style attack occurred at this event.

A major terrorist incident has according to the Mail been thwarted by counter terror officers who arrested a man and a woman in connection to this plot to carry out a mass casualty attack. Although the police denied that it was directly connected to Pride it is the sort of high profile event that radical Muslims would choose to attack. Police struck recently and stopped a car travelling in the heavily Islamised town of Luton in Bedfordshire. The police then searched properties in the town in connection with the stop of the man and the woman and the pair are being held at London police stations on suspicion of terror offences.

Everything about this planned attack screams ‘Islam’ to me. From the potential choice of target to the area that they’ve been arrested in and the fact that the police appear to have been watching this pair for a while. The two people arrested may well be among the many hundreds of dangerous Muslims that the security forces of Britain need to keep a close eye on. The fact that the police acted rather than just watched and waited in this case, as is the policy with suspects of lesser immediate danger, does suggest a distinctly Islamic desire on the part of the alleged perpetrators to commit mass murder.

There is of course the possibility that I may be wrong and the potential attackers are motivated by some other cause whether political or religious to attack a large public event, or possibly according to the Sun newspaper’s sources, the Pride celebration. However, despite this possibility there is a lot of information about this case that does carry with it the distinct stench of murderous Islam.
