It’s clown world time for Thames Valley Police

Thames Valley Police - A 'Clownworld' police force

An amazing story is coming out of the university city of Oxford, an area covered by Thames Valley Police. Apparently police are expending resources that could have been used tackling real crime such as burglary, robbery, sex offences and violence, to try to track down those who are putting up stickers that some people are ‘offended’ by.

The content of these stickers that Thames Valley are trying to stop contain the following wordings. The first is the Oxford English Dictionary’s definition of a woman which is ‘Woman – Adult human female’ and the second sticker said ‘Women don’t have penises’.

Both of these phrases merely state an easily observable and provable biological and scientific fact which is that women are adult female humans and that women don’t possess a penis. Normally, in a sensible country with a sensible police force such a statement of scientific and biological fact would and should not raise an eyebrow. Unfortunately Britain is no longer a sensible country and is not police sensibly, it is a clown world where the fact free screaming of the mentally ill bullies of the extremes of the trans community takes precedence over everything else.

Rather than Thames Valley Police treat these stickers as they should have done which is to say ‘meh’ and get on with some real police work, instead they are treating these stickers as a ‘serious crime’ and are looking to arrest those behind them for ‘public order offences’. Yes, Thames Valley Police has descended so far into politically correct madness that they expend resources that could be better used elsewhere on going after those who quote a dictionary definition of ‘woman’. Is it any wonder that I, along with a growing number of others, now treat the police not as a body of men and women who do a hard job that deserves respect, but a sick joke?

The Daily Telegraph, which is covering this story in some depth, said:

Some of the stickers, which have been dotted around the city centre, state: “Woman: noun. Adult human female” and “Women don’t have penises”.

Thames Valley Police has announced that those responsible could be charged with a public order offence and has appealed for witnesses.

It said: “Officers are investigating a large number of offensive stickers that have been placed across Oxford city centre containing transphobic comments.

“It is believed they started appearing in March within the High Street, Catte Street and Parks Road area.”

PC Rebecca Nightingale, the investigating officer, added: “Behaviour like this is not acceptable and we take incidents of this nature very seriously.”

The police have had a complete fit of the vapours over this and declined to share the content of the stickers with the public saying that they were ‘transphobic’ and ‘not suitable for sharing’ However it has since emerged that the content of the stickers was not something that a reasonable person would see as worrying. These stickers were not exhorting people to ‘Kill the Trannies’ or something similar, which could be seen as inciting public disorder, but merely a dictionary definition that anyone who cares to read can read.

I cannot for the life of me see how the promulgation of the dictionary definition of woman nor stating the fact that women do not possess penises can be considered as a ‘serious crime’ or worthy of spending so much of Thames Valley’s policing resources on? This behaviour by the police looks especially egregious and wasteful when one considers that there is an awful lot of real crime in the Thames Valley Police area. For example: In 2017 Thames Valley Police recorded 32,998 violent crimes a rise of 2,880 over 2016 figures. In addition to this jump in violent crime, the Thames Valley force area also saw the recording of 4,676 sexual offences, 1,233 offensive weapons offences and a 32% rise in robberies. Police figures also show that there was also a jump in offences involving the use or illegal possession of firearms from 5,945 in 2016 to 6,604 in 2017. It should also be remembered that Thames Valley Police were heavily criticised in a 2015 serious case review report into Islamic Rape Gang activity in Oxford where police did little or nothing to protect children from being abused by an Islamic sex gang. Thames Valley basically sat on their hands whilst Pakistani and East African Muslim abusers raped, trafficked and tortured at least 323 girls and 50 boys who were aged between 11 and 15. Thames Valley could not be arsed with stopping this sort of gross and grotesque abuse but seem to be able to find officers to investigate these stickers. Thames Valley police are a sick joke, but there are few laughing.

With such worrying rises in real crime of the sort that ordinary Britons want to see reduced, Thames Valley Police should not be bothering with complaints from loud and bullying trans activists upset and ‘offended’ that someone should dare to say what a woman is and that women don’t possess penises. Thames Valley Police should take the sensible route and tell the bleating bullies who don’t like facts to ‘do one’ and put officers like PC Rebecca Nightingale to work doing some real police work for a change.

This case illustrates a lot of what is wrong with policing in Britain today. We have forces that sit on top of enormous real crime figures, sometimes doing sod all to prevent such crimes or apprehend the offenders, wasting money on politically correct rubbish that benefits nobody, rewards bullies and makes the police a laughing stock.
