It seems that the rumours, rumours that began prior to Ilhan Omar’s election to the US Congress, about her being in a consanguineous, illegal and fraudulent marriage are more than likely to be true. The press in Britain, or more accurately the Daily Mail, has uncovered evidence that they say conclusively shows that Ilhan Omar married her brother in order to fraudulently gain him residence in the United States.

The Mail said:

‘Squad’ congresswoman Ilhan Omar told friends years ago that the man who went on to become her second husband was in fact her brother, DailyMail.com can confirm.

And now for the first time one of those friends has come forward to reveal exactly how Omar and Ahmed Elmi scandalized the Somali community in Minneapolis. 

Abdihakim Osman is the first person to go on record to speak of how Omar said she wanted to get her brother papers so he could stay in the United States, at a time when she was married to her first husband Ahmed Hirsi.

But hardly anyone realized that meant marrying him.

No one knew there had been a wedding until the media turned up the marriage certificate years later,’ Osman, 40, exclusively told DailyMail.com.

Osman’s revelations are sure to renew calls for an investigation into the Minnesota freshman representative who has repeatedly refused to answer questions on her marriage to Elmi. 

She originally said the idea that the spouses were also siblings were ‘baseless, absurd rumors’, accusing journalists of Islamophobia, but has since stayed quiet.

Ahh! ‘Islamophobia’, that catch all get out of gaol free card used by mountebanks and Jew hating US Congresswomen alike. Surprised to see her play that card? I’m not. It’s normally the first card in the pack that is played by those like Omar who want to divert questions or negative attention away from them.

The rumours about Ilhan Omar’s personal life, her campaign funding and the long history of Jew hatred, did not start when she was elected, they’d been knocking around since at least August 2016 when independent journalists started to investigate claims that Omar had married her brother in 2009. In other words she was dodgy or perceived to be dodgy a long time before she stood for election.

A lot of groups on the Left and Islamic groups have studiously ignored or tried to minimise Ilhan Omar’s questionable conduct. In one case a taxpayer funded UK Islamic group heaped praise on Omar for being ‘the first Muslim refugee to be elected to Congress’. That this group should have praised this iffy character is bad enough, but to do so when the rumours about her background and personal conduct, such as marrying her brother and writing mitigation letters for convicted terrorists, were quite readily available, strikes me as a major error of judgement.

I must admit I’m really glad to see the mainstream international media starting to take in interest in the scroaty Ilhan Omar although I have to say that they are bit late to the party as this story has been investigated for a long while by independent writers and journalists. We can hope that the increased publicity that is being given to Omar and her dodgy activities and views will result in her eventual defeat at election time. This prospect is strengthened by reports that Omar’s conduct has not gone unnoticed by decent Somali Americans and is increasingly causing a scandal in that community. Ilhan Omar is a blight on American politics and I look forward to the day that this blight is cured by removing this awful person from office.
