If for you the answer is an emphatic ‘no’ then you also have to answer the question: Why should Israel or any other civilised nation make peace with such nutters?
There’s a really interesting but also highly depressing report on the Palwatch site (h/t ROP) about how ‘Palestinians’ are continually bombarded with messages from their leaders that they should hope that their unborn children go on to be ‘martyrs’. Time after time the Muslim Arabs of the region are being told that mothers should be proud to have a ‘martyr’ in their womb. Palwatch went no to say that it’s not just one ‘Palestinian’ TV station that is giving this song prominence, several other ‘Palestinian’ media outlets appear to be doing the same. It seems that brainwashing women into wanting their children to grow up to be murderous terrorists is not just an oddity for the region, but is now policy for ‘Palestinian’ terror groups.
There is no way on Earth that I would make peace with people who make murder and death something that a mother should aspire to for their children. There can be no peace between Israel and the ‘Palestinians’ until these Muslim Arabs show that they really and honestly desire peace. Somehow, maybe because of stories like this, I don’t see this happening any time soon. The Israelis want peace, but the Muslim Arabs of the region plainly do not. Making peace with those who actively desire your death is foolish and I hope the Israelis recognise that fact. Whilst I would dearly love and indeed pray for the day when the descendants of Isaac and the descendants of Ishmael water their sheep together in peace together on the banks of the Jordan, the outcome can only be achieved when both sides agree to a lasting peace. Sadly I cannot see the ‘Palestinians’ becoming peaceful any time soon.
