Nasty little Covid Grass gets some well deserved pushback.

Protect fellow Britons and their freedoms. Don't be a Covid grass.

Like others, both at home here in Britain and overseas, I’ve taken the pledge to not grass up people who breach the increasingly disgusting, oppressive, inconsistently applied, pointless and ineffective coronavirus restriction rules. My neighbours could have a rave or a noisy orgy for all I care and I would not go to the police or the local authorities about their having more than six people present. Neither would I dob in anyone for not wearing a mask or hugging a friend or doing any of the normal human activities that our governments seem worryingly enthusiastic about taking away from us.

I tend to view those who inform on others for breaches of the Coronavirus rules with the same degree of disgust as the writer Jack London viewed those who breach strikes and become ‘scabs’ which is a treasonous low life. Such people are, in my view, lower than a snake’s belly and are selling everyone, along with everyone’s freedom down the river, for the fleeting but worthless feeling of self-virtuousness that grassing on someone over Covid gives them.

Well I’m pleased to be able to relay to you all a tale of a nasty little Covid Grass getting some well deserved pushback and comeuppance. The story comes from Australia and concerns a leftist BLM supporter who decided to do his perceived ‘civic duty’ by informing on a couple of young children who were selling drinks from a stall during the lockdown period.

Social media users, quite rightly in my opinion, turned on the grass to such an extent that the BLM/Marxist grass was forced to delete his Twitter account. So many people rounded on this filthy grass that he did a runner from social media. Well done to the Australians who stood up to this grass and shamed him. For the record, I do not agree with assaulting Covid Grasses but I most certainly approve of shaming them, calling them out and ‘Sending them to Coventry’.

The Australian news outlet news.com.au reported that the response to the grass was overwhelmingly negative.

The news outlet said:

A Melbourne man has been hounded off social media after “dobbing in” kids selling drinks from a stall during coronavirus lockdown, suggesting the council send “someone down there”.

The man, who has since deleted his Twitter account, posted a photo over the weekend of two young boys sitting at a makeshift stall fashioned from an ironing board, selling cans of soft drink and lollies.

Group of lads selling sweets and drinks for cash in Ramsden Reserve, during stage four lockdown is pretty silly in my humble opinion,” he said in the post, which tagged the Yarra Council Twitter handle.

Maybe worth sending someone down there? They didn’t listen to me. Along the Yarra Trail walking track.”

The post drew hundreds of angry responses, with many criticising him for showing the children’s faces.

OMG, arrest them immediately. Selling soft drinks and lollies on a sunny spring day, how dare they,” one person wrote.

Another said, “A grown man dobbing on a couple of kids for doing something completely harmless and posting their photo online is pretty silly in my humble opinion.”

Herald Sun columnist Rita Panahi linked to the tweet, writing, “Look at this hero dobbing in a couple of kids for supposedly breaking lockdown restrictions.”

Ms Panahi then went onto explain about the grass’s hypocrisy as he had been seen cheering on BLM protests that got 10,000 deranged Marxists onto the streets of Melbourne. The grass made ‘solidarity’ posts for BLM / Marxists but showed no solidarity for Australians who are suffering under increasingly onerous and unjustified covid lockdown restrictions. Apparently, according to the article, this is not the first time that this particular Covid Grass has come to people’s attention as he complained to the government about people queuing up to buy ice creams at an ice cream van.

Reading further into the article it seems that this is not the first time that Australians have turned on the filthy Covid Grasses.

The news.com.au site added:

Last month, a Melbourne playwright came under similar attack on social media after posting about calling the police on his neighbours for having a birthday party.

I just saw some people arriving at a neighbour’s house for a birthday party – carrying presents and food/drinks. Do I report them?” he wrote on Twitter.

In a follow-up tweet, he wrote, “Yes, I reported them. Had to go back and get the exact address. They are a couple of streets away. Looked like other visitors had also arrived, when I walked past again.”

At the time, one person replied that “this is why we will lose all our freedoms – because if most people are given a choice between freedom and the pleasure of snitching on others, they will choose snitching”.

All I can say to the Australians who are going after and calling out these Covid Grasses is ‘well done’. Both these snitches got the metaphorical stitches that they deserved. You freedom loving Australians have done the correct thing, the human thing and stood up for freedom against oppression. I pray that Britons show similar qualities when the inevitable Covid Grasses appear here in the United Kingdom.
