So, bully Boris Johnson wants to have the army out to back up the police in enforcing his ever more stupid and destructive Covid laws. Did anyone remind him that the use of the army as police has rarely if ever worked out well in the UK. Does he not recall the events in Londonderry of 30th January 1972 which turned into Bloody Sunday or even the Peterloo massacre by troops in Manchester in 1819?
