Two tier policing strikes again – Tommy Robinson arrested.

Tommy Robinson being arrested at Speaker's Corner yesterday.

Speaker’s Corner in London used to be a great place. It was a place where free speech was protected by law and where anyone could stand on a soapbox and expound their point of view. It attracted all those who had a political or religious view who wanted to speak about it and to do so in relative peace, policed only by a few Metropolitan Police and, in the past prior to 2004, Royal Parks officers. These officers were there only to prevent breaches of the peace and did so up until the Speaker’s Corner area was taken over by Muslims.

Now Speaker’s Corner has become a frightening place, dominated by violent aggressive Muslims who physically attack anyone who speaks ill of Islam and who breach Royal Parks by-laws by praying in Hyde Park. Since Muslims took over Speaker’s Corner a few years back, all those who were previously safe to speak freely at Speaker’s Corner are now unsafe and live in fear of being attacked by the Muslims who gather their both to promote Islam and to shut down with violence anybody who speaks against Islam. What has happened at Speaker’s Corner is a microcosm of what happens to things like freedom of speech in countries or regions that Islam gains political control of and that it that freedom to speak freely about Islam gets destroyed by either direct violence from Muslims or by subversion by Islamic interests by the organs of the state such as the police.

A few weeks ago a very brave Christian lady by the name of Hatun Tash from a Christian ministry group stood up at Speaker’s Corner and criticised the Koran. She was the slapped hard around the face by a Muslim savage causing Ms Tash bruising to her face and breaking her spectacles. The Metropolitan Police did what we have come to expect them to do in situations like these. They did absolutely nothing about apprehending the assailant of Ms Tash and let the violent Muslim go free. This is par for the course with the Met at Speaker’s Corner. The Met let the Muslims do as they damn well please and sod everyone else or their rights.

Here’s the video, from Tommy Robinson’s Parler feed of Ms Tash being assaulted.

Fast forward to yesterday and Ms Tash was supposed to be joined by the counterjihad campaigner Tommy Robinson who was going to go to Speaker’s Corner to give Ms Tash some chocolates and to support her right to speak freely about anything, including Islam. However, the Islam-appeasing Metropolitan Police didn’t even let Mr Robinson have a chance to speak. They almost immediately arrested him on trumped up ‘offensive weapon’ charges which were later dropped only to be replaced by ‘breaching coronavirus legislation ones’. It’s obvious to me that the Met intended to stop Mr Robinson speaking and the Met turned up with what looked like at least 100 officers in order to do so.

Now I do not for one minute believe that Mr Robinson would carry anything into a situation like that at Speaker’s Corner that could be seen as an offensive weapon, he’s too clever to allow himself to do that. In any event there was no need for such precautions as he was accompanied by his security staff. This is a bollocks reason for arrest by the Met. The use of the excuse of Coronavirus regulations is also bollocks and is being used as a retrospective reason to excuse a completely unnecessary and unjustified arrest.

The arrest of Mr Robinson for the ‘crime’ of wanting to support Ms Tash and speak freely in a place where speaking freely has long been accepted, was nothing more of an ambush by the Metropolitan Police. They wanted Mr Robinson out of there in order to appease the Muslims who have taken Speaker’s Corner over.

Mr Robinson was released from custody at some point during the early hours of this morning and I dare say that he will put more information up on his Parler feed as the day goes on.

What is really noticeable about Mr Robinson’s arrest is how many resources the Met pumped into it and how aggressive the police were in the process. Compare that to how the Met handled aggressive Muslims protesting outside the French Embassy in London a few days previous to Mr Robinson’s arrest. The Met treated the aggressive Muslims with kid gloves and made only a small number of arrests, three, two for covid related guff and one Muslim for possession of a pyrotechnic. There were no baton charges from the police like we have seen aimed at Britons protesting the Government’s lockdown policies, no aggressive targeting of individuals and the police mostly employed a policy of pleading with the demonstrators to disperse and allowing them to remain until they did so. The Met crawled up the arses of Muslims protesting outside the French Embassy in order to let them protest against freedom of speech and the Met crawled up the arses of Muslims again yesterday when they prevented Mr Robinson from speaking freely about Islam at Speaker’s Corner. The Met Police in London have become little more than a ‘Muslim Protection Squad’, that much is obvious now.

I have little doubt that the sight of at least a hundred officers being assigned to shut down and shut up one man and his opinions must enrage those Londoners who daily suffer from real and appalling crime levels. I hope that such Londoner’s remember that whilst the Met cannot get someone to come out and attend to the aftermath of a burglary, they can find an infinite amount of resources to pander to the aggressive Muslims of Speaker’s Corner in order to arrest Tommy Robinson and prevent him from speaking. The Met are a national disgrace they really are.

  1. Excellent articles today. All shared

  2. Tommy did meet with Hatun (https://www.tr.news/tommy-meeting-hatun-at-speakers-corner-live/). There were many people at the park and quite a crush around Tommy. At first, police were mostly some distance from him and Hatun, though many were present; at one point they intervened to remove a persistent heckler who had a personal issue with Tommy; other than that, nothing particularly disorderly seemed to be going on. The police did not arrest Tommy until after he had moved away. (Thinks: As to the ‘offensive weapon’, did some joker mean Tommy’s mouth?) A similar arrest with bogus charge seems to have occurred in West Yorkshire in connection with a lockdown protest, as reported by Ezra Levant: https://www.rebelnews.com/shock_video_west_yorks_police_handcuff_a_single_mum_for_criticizing_lockdown_help_her_fight_back?utm_campaign=el_ftfuk_11_2_20&utm_medium=email&utm_source=therebel
