Lotuseaters site problem now apparently solved. Has Sargon hit his server with a hammer or something?

Last month I gave a shout out to the new venture by Sargon of Akkad a website called lotuseaters.com Sadly the site had a few initial problems, mostly as far as I could ascertain, down to it being overburdened by people wanting to visit it.

Because of that overburdening, the site crashed and was unavailable for a few weeks. I noticed that there were many referrals from this site to Lotuseaters that were meeting with a rather disappointing message that the site was down. I apologise to those disappointed readers and to Sargon for these referrals that probably helped in a small way with the overburdening of the Lotuseaters website.

However, I am pleased to announce that Sargon and his team seem to have solved the problems that their site had at the beginning and it is now, as far as I can see, fully functional. I have visited it today as I have done everyday since it launched to see if it was back up and have found that it is indeed back up.

I don’t know what they’ve done to get it working again, maybe Sargon carried out some percussive engineering on the server which made it work. But I’m very pleased to point out that lotuseaters is now working and has some excellent writing and podcasts contained within it.
