‘Let them in’ said the motley collection of Leftist, naive Vicars and Rabbis, middle class liberal women and even a particularly deluded Peer of the Realm. ‘These poor Syrians need our help, they are not a danger they are in danger’ was the message that such Refugees Welcome types ululated to a media and a political class ever eager to virtue signal provided that it is, of course, virtue signalling that comes at no cost to themselves.
Some of these screeching, emotionally incontinent ‘Refugees Welcome’ types even made the insulting and offensive comparison between the sharp elbowed, self-entitled and often extremist ‘Mohammeds’ claiming to be ‘refugees’ and the genuine refugees of the pre-WWII Kindertransport children. This comparison was for me particularly disgusting as the Kindertransport children were just that, children and unlike the Syrian ‘refugees’, often made massive and positive contributions to the UK once they had grown up. Unlike those who came to Britain with the breath of death licking at their tails as part of the Kindertransport, the ‘Syrians’ have all too often been nothing but trouble.
How much trouble? Well lots of trouble. Not content with welfare poncing, being placed in public housing ahead of the citizens of Western nations, too many of these ‘Syrians’ have brought with them massive amounts of Islamic extremism.
The Germans are finding out just how great a cost their nation is paying for Angela Merkel’s ‘refugees welcome’ virtue signalling and at usual that cost is not being paid by the Establishment nor by those who foolishly said ‘let them in’. The cost is being paid by the ordinary German citizen who has seen a massive rise in Islamic terror.
Whilst skipping through the headlines this morning of both broadcast and social media I came across a story about police raids across Berlin in order to stop an imminent terror attack. As soon as I saw the words ‘police raids’ and ‘terror’ I guessed correctly that this was a story that would be nothing at all to do with the Methodists and everything to do with Islam.

Aaaannnnddd as expected, it’s Islam again.

The operation in the German capital’s Marzahn district was directed at a person suspected of being on the “Islamist spectrum”

and preparing “a serious crime,” Berlin police said, adding that 190 officers were involved in the raid.
‘Serious crime’ is such a bland way of describing a possible atrocity planned by Muslims with German citizens as the intended target. I don’t know about you but I suspect that the German police may not be telling all that they know about this case. I suspect that this raid was much more than about one lone Syrian headcase. After all you don’t need 190 officers to apprehend one suspect and I believe that the German police are playing down aspects of this case for political reasons.
According to the Berliner Zeitung newspaper, police were searching the apartment of a man suspected of planning a terrorist attack. The paper said the suspect was a 22-year-old Syrian, but the information was unconfirmed.
Berlin’s public prosecutor’s office later said the information about an “imminent Islamist bomb attack” had not been confirmed during the search, and the investigation was still ongoing.
Again, 190 officers is an awful lot of manpower to deploy for one arrest and one property search. I believe that there is much more to this than meets the eye and that the ‘Islamist bomb attack’ threat or suspicion may be the politically correct way of describing something huge that these savages had planned.
Germany and German citizens have suffered immensely because of Frau Merkel’s desire to virtue signal. Merkel made the terrible decision to try to show that Germany had broke from its past where it killed Jews by ironically inviting in those from cultures who would gladly answer ‘yes please’ to the question ‘would you like to kill some Jews?’
Was Merkel really “virtue-signalling” ? Or are too many Western politicians attracted Corbyn-like to violence and are giving way to a secret impulse to harm their Jewish populations by bringing in others whom they know – (but won’t admit to knowing…) – will attack the Jews, thereby giving the political classes both the thrill of setting their dog onto somebody, coupled with plausible deniability ?
I would think that this would apply much more to far leftists than to any other group of politicians. The Corbynites for example hate Orthodox Jews and Jews who believe in Biblical Zionism ie a return to Zion, the Jews historical home and a normal life for Jews in a Jewish homeland where a Jewish Burglar can be arrested by a Jewish policeman, but I fail to see how this could describe the likes of Merkel for example. Merkel was brought up and was indoctrinated in the old DDR and was probably filled with propaganda about how the West spawned fascism and Jew hatred. I believe that in Merkel’s case the ‘refugees welcome’ guff was influenced by her upbringing and was a mistaken policy designed to finally wipe out Germany’s mid 20th century period as a nation of xenophobes and improve Germany’s image among the middle class left of various western nations.
