From Elsewhere: Cry havoc and let slip the dogs of culture war. A creator takes on cancel culture.

One of the nicest, most personable of You Tube creators that are out there is Jeremy Hambly of The Quartering. I don’t inhabit the world of gaming and similar things that Jeremy inhabits, but he’s one of these creators that I watch as often as I can because of his style of presentation. It is also because he gives an intelligent insight into the cancel culture that has both scarred and endangered our societies in the West.

Jeremy is not massively political, he strikes me as a bit of a classical liberal a sort of live and let live sort of individual and that is part of his appeal to me. He also isn’t an obvious grifter which is also a bonus and you can see that from how embarrassed he is about having to ask for support.

But everyone, no matter how nice they are has a limit to what they will put up with and that includes Mr Hambly. He’s engaged lawyers to challenge cancel culture and those who he believes have slandered him. Some of his legal help is I must say very high profile. I say good luck to him. We need more people to stand up against cancel culture or we will not have much of a culture left by the time the cancellers have finished with it.
