The sort of Jew hatred we should be talking about more but sadly do not.

Britain is very good at talking about the sort of Jew hatred promulgated by a relatively tiny number of deluded neo-Nazi jackboot lickers. The State is also pretty good at using the law to counter such individuals, especially when they commit acts of violence.

The problem is that Britain, or rather the Government and even some Jewish communal organisations, especially those that lean to the political Left, are not that good when it comes to Jew hatred that has its roots in Islam. The State drags its feet when Muslims either incite or commit violence against Jews and this is something that has become increasingly noticeable.

For example earlier this year there was a series of pro-’Palestine’ demonstrations in London where some of the mostly Muslim participants drove round Jewish areas of London threatening to rape Jewish mothers and daughters. The Met Police arrested some suspects but there’s no indication as to whether they’ve been charged or not, despite this incident being filmed. It’s more than likely that the Met, because of its increasingly pro-Islam, pro-Left political bent and a Crown Prosecution Service that has also been infiltrated by pro-Islam leftists, may ‘no crime’ this incident and not prosecute. This is a case where if it had been anyone other than the followers of Islam who had threatened rape against Jewish women, they would have been arrested, charged and convicted in very short order. However months have dragged by and these rape inciters have not yet, to my knowledge at this point, been charged. Contrast the Met’s behaviour in the case of those who threatened to rape Jews and how South Yorkshire Police acted when a Sheffield woman made a crass and offensive comment about a young Afghan refugee who fell out of a window and died. In the Sheffield case the police couldn’t move fast enough and arrested her for ‘malicious communication’. There does indeed to be one standard which the police operate under when it comes to attacks on some groups and quite another less active and involved standard when different groups are the victims of attacks.

Now, in addition to the disgraceful scenes of rape threats aimed at Jewish women that we saw in London earlier this year, there’s been another attack, by a Muslim on a Jew and presumably rooted in Islamic Jew hatred. This attack is a quite recent one and occurred on the 18th August at 20:30 in Stamford Hill an area with a lot of Haredi Jews and other Jews who are recognisable as Jews by mode of dress.

Footage of the attack which shows an unprovoked attack in the form of a punch to the head by a Muslim man on a Jewish man and was put up the the Jewish neighbourhood watch group the Shomrim. The footage I found on the Old Holborn Twitter feed and because I know the Stamford Hill area somewhat and sadly, because of Jew hatred, how well it needs to be covered by CCTV, I have little doubt that this footage is genuine.

Here’s the video of this contemptible unprovoked attack by a man who is identifiably Muslim on a Jewish man. A later report in the Metro newspaper stated that the victim had suffered a broken ankle and head injuries in the attack. According to the Evening Standard newspaper, The Shomrim are also reporting that the police are linking this attack with other similar attacks and there is video of the alleged assailant walking down the road although it is not clear whether this video is taken before or after the attack. One of the attacks that this Muslim man is linked to, according to the Metro report, is an attack where a child on a bike was punched.

Will the Met Police go all in to get the culprit in this attack or what could be attacks and prosecute them? I’d like to think so but I suspect that they will not do so. Because of the Met’s now obvious pro-Left and pro-Islam double standard which has seen aggressive Islam related demonstrations left alone, officers kneeling to Marxist BLM scum and allowing Extinction Rebellion to trash the capital, I have little hope that they will act with swiftness or effectiveness in this case. I’d love to be proven incorrect on this but I will not hold my breath waiting for the Met to act.

This attack had I’m afraid everything to do with Islam. It had its roots in Islamic Jew hatred and this is something that is very difficult to deny. Whilst there are Muslims and Islamic leaders who should be praised for doing their bit to reduce Islam derived Jew hatred, it’s a drop in the ocean compared to the sort of long term ideological brainwashing about Jews that too many Muslims get during their upbringing.

These Muslims who recognise that Jew hatred is wrong do their best, but they are fighting against deeply embedded religiously inspired Jew hatred that is extremely hard to counteract. No matter what decent Muslims do, it will not be enough. Sadly, until Muslims admit that Jew hatred is baked into much of their faith, and remove or sideline or contextualise those parts of the Koran and Hadith that encourage murderous hatred of Jews, things will not change. Mainstream Christians have, on the whole, if not removed but have at least placed less emphasis on things like the ‘blood verse’ in the Christian testament, maybe it’s time for Muslims to do something similar?

We need to talk about Islamic Jew hatred, but I suspect there are many who are in important positions in the Government, the media and various police forces who would rather that we did not.

  1. Yes, sadly we are seeing an increase in Islam-inspired Jew-hatred (not to mention Gay-hatred, Christian hatred and anything-but-orthodox-Islam hatred) here in the UK and around the world.
But, of course, Islam is a “protected category” (or whatever the jargon is) and so we can say or do nothing about it without being labelled “Islamophobic”.
Which is ironic, given that the fear of, and loathing for, *Islam itself* becoming an ever more rational reaction to the actions of orthodox Muslims.

People can be subject to irrational fears. For example the uneducated medieval peasant had an irrational and false fear of Jews poisoning wells and some modern people have a fear that being gay is contagious in some way. Such fears are irrational, they have no basis in reality.

However fear of extremist Islam, not I need to add, fear of individual Muslims, does have a basis in reality. Extremist Muslims have committed atrocities in the name of Islam and many of the other crimes such as the ongoing rape gang scandal have Islamic religious aspects to them, mostly related to Islamic supremacism.

We do need to talk about Orthodox Islam and be honest about both its strengths and weaknesses. The problem is as you say that State doesn’t want people talking about it. I believe that the State fears what might happen if the public was allowed to speak freely about Islam. I have little doubt that some in authority fear pogroms if open debate about Islam was allowed. For my own part I’m much more optimistic that this would not happen if open debate was permitted. Such debate might even be helpful to all sides as it would embolden those Muslims who feel oppressed by their own extremists and make tension less overall. Yes there are nutters out there on all sides, but we should not hamper discussion out of fear of the possible actions of a tiny minority of lunatics.

My views have changed a fair bit on how to deal with Islam related problems. I used to believe that this could be done via legislation including reducing Islam’s influence over the state. However now I believe that in the longer term what needs to be done is to peel people away from Islam and I’ve been inspired to change my view by consuming a lot of the output of ex Muslims and finding out that there are many who would like to leave Islam but are frightened to do so but despite that people are still leaving. Reducing the influence of Islam by helping to create apostates is a better and more humane way of dealing with problems than some of the more radical things I’ve seen suggested.
