It’s not often these days that I say ‘Well done’ to the BBC.

The BBC is not an organisation that, in its current form, I feel any need to praise. In fact I’m more likely to damn the BBC instead of praise them.

But the BBC has taken one particular action that I have to praise them for taking. That act is withdrawing from the Stonewall ‘Diversity champions’ scheme.

A few days ago the Guido Fawkes site reported that the BBC was withdrawing from the Stonewall scheme on the grounds that they BBC needs to be seen to be impartial with regards to reporting LGBT issues. I very much doubt that this withdrawal will make that much difference in how the BBC uncritically and with bias reports controversial issues such as transgenderism as identity politics left wingery has already pretty well completely parasitised the BBC. However, the abandoning of Stonewall does send a message and that message is that Stonewall has, over the issue of the promotion of the cult of trans, become too extreme even for the BBC.

The BBC joins a growing number of public and private sector organisations who have either severed ties with Stonewall or who are considering doing so. These organisations are in my opinion correct to distance themselves from Stonewall. They must realise that associating with Stonewall does nothing to enhance the lives of the same sex attracted employees or customers of organisations

but instead helps to facilitate the entry into these organisations by the most extreme adherents of the cult of trans. Stonewall and its insistence that organisations throw away the rights of their female employees or customers in order to pander to an extremely tiny minority of extreme trans activists is starting to be recognised as being unpopular with the general public and is therefore going to reflect badly on those organisations that associate with Stonewall. This association with Stonewall and their pushing of trans extremists is likely going to be seen as eventually hitting the bottom line or the reputation of the organisations concerned and I suspect that what is now a trickle of entities divorcing themselves from Stonewall might become a flood. After all if the BBC and its inherent Left wing bias can dump Stonewall then many others may feel that they should too.

Stonewall did a great deal of good work in the early days of the organisation helping to gain acceptance and equality for same sex and both sex attracted people. However they’ve squandered much of their own reputation by aligning themselves with the more extreme elements of the cult of trans. It appears to be the case that at last those major organisations who signed up to ally with Stonewall are starting to see that association with Stonewall might be becoming more trouble than its worth.

  1. One swallow doesn’t make a summer and in my opinion the BBC is still a biased, left leaning outfit staffed by out of touch toffs. Worst of all this self serving anachronism is supported by a tax on television sets enforced by criminal law and extorting money with menaces.

Spot on there. It’s a nest of communists and Britain haters but getting rid of Stonewall is a welcome move. The BBC might be doing this for the right reasons but they also might be doing this because there could be some damaging stuff coming out about Stonewall that we don’t know about but the BBC do.
