Italy mass stabbing. ‘Drugs’ or something else?

Whilst perusing the news feeds this morning I came across this story of a Somali man who had been refused asylum in several other European countries but who was living in a Red Cross facility in Rimini, Italy, who went on a stabbing rampage injuring four women and a child. The authorities in Italy are claiming that this is not linked to terrorism but instead is ‘drugs’. Is it ‘drugs’ or is it ‘something else’? Here’s the report from the German news outlet DW. The original text is in italics whereas my comments are in plain text.

DW said:

A 26-year-old male Somali asylum seeker was arrested by police in Italy after several people were stabbed in the northern resort town of Rimini, several Italian news outlets reported on Sunday.

Another day and yet another ‘asylum seeker’ crime.

Four women and a six-year-old boy were injured in the incident, which occurred on Saturday evening. The boy is is said to be in critical condition after wounds on his neck.

Truly appalling. If this bastard had not been in Italy then this child would not be critically ill.

The suspect was reportedly riding a bus without a ticket, and attacked two ticket controllers while aboard the vehicle. He then fled the scene and wounded three other people while on the run.

It’s not exactly a reasonable response to be challenged about a travel ticket is it, to attack the ticket inspectors then go on a stabbing rampage. It’s obvious from the story that this bastard could have just run off, there was no need for him to have gone and stabbed these women and a child.

The police later managed to track down the suspect and arrest him.

Good. However if this bastard had been denied entry to Europe in the first place then none of this would have happened.

Investigators do not believe the man’s motive was terrorism-related, but rather think the man was likely under the influence of drugs during his rampage.

Are they absolutely sure it’s ‘drugs’ or is it jihad or even just normal behaviour from a person from a country and culture that is steeped in violence?

The man had applied for asylum in Italy and was reportedly housed in a Red Cross facility in Rimini.

There was once a time, shortly after World War II, when we could readily respect the Red Cross for the humanitarian work that they did. Now we can’t as they seem all too eager to house and protect people like this. I gave up donating to the Red Cross years ago because of this sort of work they do. I’m all in favour of what they do protecting and treating people in conflict zones but I can’t support the housing of and pandering to the sort of savages who go on knife sprees.

According to the Italian ANSA news agency, the suspect had been living in Europe since 2015 and was denied asylum in several other European countries, such as Denmark, Sweden, Germany, and the Netherlands.

So this bastard had no grounds to be given asylum in four European countries but he was allowed to live in Italy. Why was he not deported back to Somalia after the first or the second asylum refusal? I would guess that the reason that this bastard was in Europe in the first place was because of Angela Merkel’s lunatic open doors policy for so called ‘refugees’. It is a policy that has brought crime, misery and jihad to Europe and has resulted in the injuries that we see one of her pets has caused in Rimini.

I have observed a lack of sympathy in various comment threads regarding the murder of Sir David Amess. It is suggested that he was a supporter of policies involving the importing of barbarians from the third world and was faced with the direct consequences of those policies. I’m trying not to think that way but am finding it hard to disagree. The little people have been suffering this kind of cultural enrichment for years and have been powerless in the face of government policies.

I also have seen those threads and they are not ones that I wholly agree with. The ‘refugees welcome’ nonsense and the blind eye turned to the growth of really dangerous forms of Islam is not to be laid at the feet of one politician. This problem is spread across the whole political class, Labour, Tory and Lib Dem. There is, to be frank and epidemic of cowardice about speaking about these matters across the political parties. There’s also the matter of degree of support for dangerous policies. It’s one thing to do, as Sir David did, campaign for the rights of pro democracy dissidents in places like Iran and to want to have such people sheltered here, but it is quite another less understandable thing to campaign as too many Labour types and troubling groups like Citizens UK do, or fully open borders.

It remains to be seen whether the political Establishment, now that they’ve personally suffered the harm that jihadism has brought, will grow some balls and do something about it.

  2. The Red Cross are living on our taxes as so are most (all?) NGOs. It’s easy to for the ‘do-gooders’ to live on other peoples’ money.

Governments support 82% of the International Committee of the Red Cross’s work although this funding is volunteered by the governments, with 18% of the ICRC’s funding – as far as I can tell – coming from voluntary donations from the public. I’ve nothing against the RC being funded by states or individuals to provide assistance in war zones and the like but I do object to the money donated to the RC being used to house and support arseholes like this latest stabby Somalian.
