A ludicrous word salad topped with a liberal sprinkling of BS

Britons want and deserve effective, honest and impartial policing. We want the police to stop the woke rubbish and tackle the crimes that really really bother us. Police should be dealing with the violence, the sex crime, the property crime and the quality of life crimes like criminal damage that make all our lives more miserable.

However what do we get from the Deputy Chief Constable of the National Police Chiefs Council. Not promises to deal with the rising crime and disorder we face or a plan to get police away from dealing with ‘hurty words’ on Twitter and back on real crime fighting work like maybe she should be doing. No instead of that we get an almost impenetrable wall of worthless word salad sprinkled with a liberal garnish of bullshit as you can see in the image below.

Now I searched what was publicly available from the National Police Chiefs Council about this ‘Uplift’ policy but I’m still I the bloody dark. It’s a sad state of affairs isn’t it that while the country goes to pot and crime afflicts more and more people, all we get from our top cops is another round of Bullshit Bingo. Utterly disgraceful it really is.  The great irony about this story is that this particular bit of verbal diarrhea is coming from an officer who is alleged to be the National Police Chiefs Council’s communication expert.

  1. “… spotight wicked issues …”, “..lever change “, working in partnership across policing to ensure sustainability.”
An analysis of what this supposed ‘explanation’ of a general Police policy by the National Police Chiefs Council’s communication expert shows that she is an outstanding expert in the shovelling of naught but bovine excreta.

Yep there’s nothing at all there that shows us anything related to providing a better police force than we have. Her BS will not stop one mugger, one burglar, one rapist, one terrorist or one murderer.

  2. “… spotight wicked issues …”, so now we have a morality police, or should that be a Mutaween, given how hard Plod comes down on ‘Islamophobia’?
The Police should be Policing CRIME not morals.
I do not want Plod conflating morals (and whose morals?) and crime, one can see the result of that in Countries where Sharia dominates the legal system.

“Ensur[ing] sustainability.” Somehow I don’t think this refers to quality-of-life issues around safe streets, neighbourhoods and communities where people can really trust the Police to catch criminals and thus deter crime.
I shudder to imagine what it does mean – except that the general public can go whistle when it comes to the Police tackling real crime.

I’m beginning to think that whatever training these people are getting is starting to result in brain injury, perhaps to Wernicke’s region.

  3. A suburb item telling just the way it is. Out police now seem to be little more than keyboard warriors or looking for easy money from the law abiding who will pay up and cause them little trouble. Revenue gathering from motorists and those who refuse to pay the TV tax demanded by the BBC is much nicer work than having to deal with nasty criminals. I have tried writing to the PCC and the Chief Constable about the sorry lack of real policing and the fact that here we don’t see any police presence for up to a year at a time but all I get is a torrent of copy and paste bullshit. I have yet to write to our do nothing Home Secretary but as she does nothing but talk tough and does even less I won’t be holding my breath.

Thank you for the compliment. The police seem more interested in revenue raising low hanging fruit and PC bullshit than they are in tackling the sorts of crime that really bothers people.
