From Elsewhere. Spiked Magazine sticks the boot in to the police for yet more non-crime nonsense.

Hampshire Police have got their knickers in a twist over stickers that have appeared on lamposts stating ‘it’s OK to be White’. In doing so they’ve taken the bait set for them by online trolls who suggested the idea of the stickers in order to get the Left to start screaming about ‘muh racism’.

The troll’s idea has worked and it has worked in a highly spectacular manner. Every time these stickers appear they get the Left riled up and screaming. In places like the United Kingdom, where there is no constitutionally protected right to freedom of speech, such stickers cause the police to drop any work they might be doing on real crimes such as burglaries or street assaults and concentrate on finding whoever has put the stickers up.

Whilst the ‘OK to be White’ stickers and slogan has been used by White supremacists, such groups are less likely to use this sort of wording on a sticker and instead more likely to put something far worse on them. Believe me, as someone who grew up in an area where stickering by the neo-fascist British Movement was quite common and very visible, when I say that there are lot worse things that can be put on a sticker than ‘it’s OK to be White’.

There is in my view nothing inherently morally wrong with saying ‘it’s OK to be White’ just as there’s nothing wrong with saying ‘It’s OK to be Black’ or ‘It’s OK to be Gay’ or ‘It’s OK to be Asian’or even ‘It’s OK for a bloke to put on a dress on a Wednesday just after tea time and dance the Fandango with Paul from Accounts’. The phrase ‘It’s OK to be White’ does not carry with it any inherent threat, unlike the sort of graffiti I saw scrawled on school desks growing up which encouraged people to engage in violence against people from the Indian sub-continent.

What the ‘It’s OK to be White’ stickers or rather the furore over them does do is to expose the utter and complete madness of identity politics and identiarianism. Outrage is selective when it comes to the identity politics crowd, they spit feathers over the ‘It’s OK to be White’ stickers whilst praising similar statements that support those groups that come under the umbrella of identity politics. It’s hard to imagine for example the purveyors of identity politics getting upset over stickers reading ‘It’s OK to be Black’ or ‘It’s OK to be Asian’.

Charlie Peters writing in Spiked Magazine has clearly seen through the identity politics guff that is behind the ‘outrage’ about these stickers and the supine and craven behaviour of Hampshire Police in climbing onboard this outrage bandwagon.

Mr Peters said:

Those who are getting riled up by the ‘It’s ok to be white’ posters only have themselves to blame. It is they who have stoked and fostered a politics that explains all of the world’s disparities and differences in terms of oppressed and oppressor races. That is what these posters are reacting to.

These racial identitarians are so aggressively obsessed with the idea of white supremacy, an evil they desperately hunt for but never find, that they can even see its presence in an innocuous statement. That a few bland words can cause such terror, and even a police investigation, shows how racialised thinking poisons the mind.

Spot on there. Those who have created a culture where everyone and everything is divided by race have also created the conditions where people feel that they can and should make messages like ‘It’s OK to be White’ in order to trigger the idiots who created this culture and to highlight the utter and complete hypocrisy of those who have racialised everything. Mr Peters is completely correct here. These are bland words, probably the blandest that could possibly be chosen, and do show how the racial identiarians are people with poisoned minds. I’d be the first to stand up and condemn posters or stickers that really were incitement to violence such as stuff that read ‘Kill group X’ for example, but these ‘It’s OK to be White ‘ stickers are nothing like that level of concern. Those who are getting upset about these stickers and who have dragged what appears to be a debased politically correct police along with them obviously have no real problems with racism or oppression or they would not be getting upset by what is after all a nothingburger.

  1. Going after sticker posters is much nicer work than actually having to mix it with those nasty criminal types and if you get it right your promotion is assured.

It’s an easy collar and allows the police to virtue signal as well. I’m really surprised that the filth have not gone after the pro woman stickers that are going up in various places the ones that read ‘Woman -Adult Human Female’. The TRA’s are really pissed about these and I’m surprised that some plod have not decided to pander to the TRA’s and go after women who put them up.
