From Elsewhere: Flatulent fact free tosspottery from Essex Police.

We used to have police forces, but now we seem to have police farces. The blogger Tom Winnifrith has decided to, quite rightly in my view, go to town on the ‘Trans Day of Remembrance’ issue that Essex Police have decided to be involved in.

As Mr Winnifrith pointed out, Essex Police officers are turning out to virtue signal over something that is not exactly a problem in the UK. Trans people are not being murdered in large numbers because they are trans and any claim that they are is just a bare faced lie. The chance of a trans person being murdered in the UK for any reason, whether that be motivated by their trans status or because of a domestic or other dispute, is half that of a normal British subject. Where murders of trans people do occur in large numbers is in places like Brazil and even then these murders are the result of the victim being involved in one of two particularly dangerous trades, prostitution or the drug trade. There’s no real solid and incontrovertible evidence that trans people, whether in the UK or elsewhere are being routinely murdered because the victims are transgender.

Essex Police should have studied the facts before they got involved in this laughable virtue signalling. Whilst all violent deaths are a tragedy it needs to be remembered that there’s not even one death per year by violence aimed at transgenders because they are transgender. As the commentator in the image below pointed out, a woman has more chance of being murdered by a police officer than a transgender has of being targeted for murder because they are transgender.

The transgender activists are lying to everyone about the number of transgenders targeted for murder because of their identity. Shame on Essex Police for going along with this lie.

  1. Par for the course and probably won’t change for the foreseeable future. You’ll note that nowhere in the UK do the selectively law enforcing, law “interpreting” Plod-Farces commemorate the thousands of victims of rape gangs, rising number of victims of the Religion of Death, the victims of “honour” crimes and of course the black victims of black on black crime, as that would open them up to being called waaaycist or phobic.
Doing the “trans” crap is relatively risk free, plus molifies the Univershitty Marxists and Students of Nothing.
Note too, the awkward silence on rising Jew Hatred, also how quickly reportage on the Liverpool jihadi bomber has been silenced, as was the jihadi murder of Sir David Amess, yet wall to wall 24/7 clamour over the murder of Jo Cox by an “extreme right” nutter. No minute’s silence on the victims of the Religion of Death, nor condemnation of its creed. Instead, we get risk-free, non-judgemental, heart-on-sleeve bollocks for an all but non-existent issue.
What the betting that there’ll be active “trans” recruitment by the useless Plods, with endless cash hose over non-isdues such as toilets and tampons for persons sans cervixes, while the streets remain abandoned except for the refreshment units set up to attend to the Climate/Insulate eco-wankers needs.
Yet another “service” that’s forgotten whom it’s supposed to serve and who pay its wages.
Where’s that f*cking asteroid when you need one?

Engaging in virtue signalling like this just widens the gulf between the police and the people and undermines the Peelian Principles of policing.

  2. Well down to the usual standard I expect of our so called police. Having said that it’s interesting to see a photo of what they actually look like these days around my Area they have been an extinct species for several years now.

Whilst there are good ground level police officers, there are not enough of them and they are constantly undermined by their superiors who push stuff like this. This is the second time recently that a police force has taken to threatening the public who expressed disagreement with police woke guff. About a month ago West Midlands Police IIRC did something similar when they got criticised for pro-trans virtue signalling. They took to social media to ‘remind’ people that they shouldn’t be ‘nasty’ ‘or else’.

      • I Tweeted to them, making sure I got their @name right and told them that this is England, not North Korea and to go shove it sideways, where the sun doesn’t shine. As you know, my trust for the IDs is in negative territory.
