Can we find a new backbone for Mr Sunak please? The one he borrowed from a Jellyfish doesn’t work.

Chancellor of the Exchequer Rishi Sunak. Here we have another politician who cannot bring themselves to utter the dictionary definition of 'Woman'.

When a politician cannot bring themselves to give the honest definition of what a woman is and instead spout bluster and bullshit when confronted with the question ‘what is a woman’, then it makes me wonder just what else that particular politician is bullshitting us about?

Such a politician is the Chancellor of the Exchequer Rishi Sunak who in an interview with Julia Hartley-Brewer for Talk Radio refused to give the standard and well accepted dictionary definition of a woman which is ‘Adult Human Female’. Instead Sunak blustered and referred Ms Hartley-Brewer and her listeners to a meandering statement by the Prime Minister that although couched in the usual social justice language that we’ve come to expect from the current ersatz Tories, does at least accept the reality of biology.

Guido Fawkes has helpfully put up a copy of the PM’s statement on what a woman is and it reads as follows:

“This is one of those issues that the whole House is coming to realise requires extreme sensitivity, tact, love and care. We must recognise that when people want to make a transition in their lives, they should be treated with the maximum possible generosity and respect. We have systems in this country that allow that and have done for a long time, and we should be very proud of that, but I want to say in addition that I think, when it comes to distinguishing between a man and a woman, the basic facts of biology remain overwhelmingly important.”

Personally I find it utterly disgusting that a senior minister of the Crown cannot bring themselves to say the truth which is that a woman is an adult human female. It’s abject and craven cowardice on Sunak’s part to not give the proper definition and instead rely on and hide behind the PM’s statement to the House of Commons on the subject of sex and gender.

For crying out loud doesn’t Sunak know that although the mentalist gender cult is popular in London and other areas where the Metro-Left hold sway, it’s less popular with the sort of people who the Tories need to be re-elected. There are a lot of people who disagree with the gender ideology and an increasing number of women who are risking much to fight against the problems caused by the gender identity cult. Sunak could have made a common sense statement that affirmed that biological sex exists and defined accurately what a woman is. Unfortunately Sunak did not do this. He decided that what the best thing to do was throw women and women’s rights under the bus so that he could avoid being screamed at by the votaries of the gender identity cult.

Putting women and women’s rights behind that of trans rights is not exactly the best way in my opinion to attract the votes of women, who make up approximately 50% of the potential electorate.  In fact I’d go so far as to say that it’s a damn good way to put women off of voting for the Tories.

Mr Sunak, it seems that somewhere out there is a mindless Jellyfish that is missing whatever passes for its spine and that it currently in use by a Chancellor who is too cowardly to give an accurate definition of the word ‘woman’. Truly this is the point when Britain, or rather its political classes, can be judged quite fairly to have transmogrified into ‘Clown World’.

  1. Before we know what’s happened that nice Mr Sunak will be breaking manifesto promises and suspending (abolishing) the triple lock. He might even go on to tell us we are better off when the truth is everyone is hundreds of pounds worse off. Then he could tell us he is a low tax chancellor when tax is the highest it’s been in a lifetime and rising. We can have total faith in a charlatan like Mr Sunak and vote him in again at the next election, you know the election when the turkeys are voting for Christmas.

And across the pond from Clown World more of this mental illness is spreading.
In the 13th hour of Judge Ketanji Brown Jackson’s confirmation hearing Tuesday, Sen. Marsha Blackburn (R-TN) asked the Supreme Court nominee: “Can you provide a definition for the word ‘woman’?”

Jackson, appearing confused, responded, “I’m not a biologist.”

P.S. Judge Ketanji Brown Jackson is a woman

If a senior judge or a potentially senior judge is running so scared of the trans lobby that they wriggle like this then it doesn’t exactly fill me with confidence about whatever other abilities they may have.

  3. Yes, but it works both ways? There appears to be a ‘heated debate’ about men transitioning to female, but there are also trans men. Are they men and what is their status regarding military conscription for instance, or admission into the Freemasons?

I don’t see trans men flocking to complete in men’s sports probably because they’d be outclassed everytime by a natural born man. I agree with Ayaan Hirsi Ali who recently wrote that the ultimate answer to this problem is to have trans specific sports competitions. It could most certainly be a policy that would ensure fairness.
