Justified criticism for Sussex Police

Every now and again there comes along a story which illustrates to the general public just how deeply the Cult of Trans has penetrated Britain’s state agencies. One such story is that of John Stephen Dixon. This man was convicted of a string of sex assaults against children and gaoled but who was referred to in a Sussex police press release as female because he had claimed to be a woman. This man does not appear to have applied for or been granted a Gender Recognition Certificate and I can find no information that suggests he had gone through a gender transition process.

Sussex Police’s pandering to the Cult of Trans by referring to a legally and possibly bodily male criminal as female quite rightly sparked off a storm of criticism on social media. The response by Sussex Police was as depressingly familiar as we’ve come to expect. Sussex Police put out a statement saying that social media users should not make ‘hateful’ comments about this case. Sussex Police said that they would not tolerate ‘hateful comments’ about a person’s gender identity no matter what the crime that the person has committed.

The threats that Sussex Police made to the public over comments about the Dixon case gave the distinct impression that this force had turned itself into something akin to the ‘Sussex trans-nonce protection squad’. This force could not bring itself to see the ideology of the Cult of Trans challenged and did their utmost to intimidate the public into not stating the truth about this offender, truth that is quite easily determinable from the offenders mugshot, which is that he is male. What’s worse than the bullying comments from Sussex Police is the news that Dixon is most likely to be held in Bronzefield, a specifically female prison. This shows us that the Cult of Trans is not only pulling the strings in all too many of our police forces but has also gained influence over the Ministry of Justice, the government department that oversees Britain’s prison system and probation service. This Dixon character should legally be held in a male prison even if he has to be segregated from other prisoners for his own safety. He should not be placed in a women’s prison. By treating this intact male nonce as ‘female’ the MOJ has done a great deal to make women prisoners feel under threat as prison officers are said to be unwilling to back up women prisoners who have been assaulted by trans prisoners because the prison officers fear accusations of ‘transphobia’. The MOJ just like our police forces have been taken over by the Cult of Trans and the result has been predictable awful.

The negative response from the public to this case was huge. So huge in fact that the new Home Secretary Suella Braverman decided to intervene. She put out a statement saying that the police should concentrate on crime and not get involved in policing pronouns. Sussex Police then backed down over their slavish adoration of the Cult of Trans and removed the threatening Tweet from their Twitter timeline. The also put out a statement that said that the threatening comments put out to the public regarding criticism of their decision to refer to Dixon as ‘she’ was wrong. Sussex Police said that the statement warning the public about ‘hateful’ comments about Dixon’s gender identity ‘was inconsistent with our usual style of engagement; we apologise for this and have removed the comment.’ I can’t help but wonder whether the police would have backed down like this were it not for the intervention of the Home Secretary. I suspect that Sussex Police would have been quite happy to go out and kick down the doors of some ‘transphobes’ and force them to face the full force of the law. I believe that it was only the intervention of the Home Secretary that prevented this as it is quite obvious to me that the Cult of Trans is pulling all too many strings at Sussex Police headquarters.

I’m very pleased to see the new Home Secretary making her criticisms of Sussex Police. She said that she would stand against the gender woo and so far this is what she appears to be doing. However whilst we should quite rightly praise the Home Secretary for speaking up in this instance it is not the end of the battle to get the negative influences of the Cult of Trans out of the machinery of government. Trans activists have been allowed to influence government policy and administration for such a long time that it is going to take a lot of work to return departments like the Home Office and the Ministry of Justice to some semblance of sense where they recognise that sex matters. Never again should a police force be allowed to get away with comments such as Sussex made during this furore which is that a persons sex does not have any relevance to sex crimes. It should not take the intervention of the Home Secretary to get police forces to treat sex as relevant and a criminals self-defined gender identity as irrelevant.

Sussex Police’s egregious behaviour over this case only came to notice because they overplayed their hand in a very public manner. This raises the question for me about what is going on when the interactions between police and those who are gender critical are not occurring in public or where the gender critic is not articulate or used to dealing with police officers? There might well be thousands upon thousands of people whom Sussex and other police forces have intimidated into silence over the gender identity issue which have not garnered the sort of publicity that the Dixon case has had. This is a thought that should make you extremely angry not just at the police but their willingness to throw genetic women under the bus in order to placate the votaries of the Cult of Trans.

  1. Words fail me, what a sad state our police are actually in. Small wonder they don’t have the time or the interest to address almost any real crime anymore. We are I fear on a slippery slope and at the bottom of it await the vigilante and the lynching mob. Thanks for an informative article.

The rise of vigilantes is something that worries me as well. Vigilantes don’t always have the best of reputations when it comes to targeting the actually guilty rather than just harassing the local oddball.

  2. Hi, good to see you back posting a bit more – hope you enjoyed your spell supervising laughing boy and the chickens etc.
Of course the sussex police position is worrying and Braverman’s intervention very welcome (and what l fully expect her to continue pushing). As you say she has to involve the justice department as well. Why stop there though? Just about every public service is tied in knots trying to deal with gender Ideology and, l suspect, many would welcome clear government intervention on the issue.
Related – l see Olivia Pinkney is stepping down as Hampshire Chief Constable next April and will not be taking any further roles in policing. Don’t know what (if any) influence the recent ‘pride flag swastika’ meme had but reading between the lines l do think she was pushed.

Thank you. Braverman’s intervention has really pissed off the Left. I’ve seen some leftists out there in social media land claiming that her intervention was not constitutional as it was an interference in an operational matter. The left have got a bit too used to police forces doing their bidding and not the bidding of the people via our elected representatives.
