For months and months Britons have had to be subjected to the disruptions caused by eco-extremists. Britons have had their journeys delayed and the lunatics from groups like Just Stop Oil or other Extinction Rebellion front groups have had free rein to basically do as they like with very little intervention by the police in whatever policing area they are causing disruption in.
But I see that the police, in this case the Met, can get off of their arses and deal with these eco-terrorists when they absolutely have to, or rather when it’s the political elite rather than the ordinary Briton who is being targeted by them. Odd isn’t it that the Met can show some balls when confronted with these eco-extremists when they are causing trouble outside of Downing Street but not when these nutcases are blocking other roads or inconveniencing ordinary people.

These useful idiots obviously truly believe the nonsense with which their minds are filled. Climate, oil, coal, gas, etc., it’s all in there in a confused, mixed-up mess of worries. It’s pointless trying to debate with people like these – they are full of (incorrect) facts, but have no ability to express them cogently. It’s very sad that some, otherwise seemingly intelligent people are so easily brainwashed.
It’s a wrongheaded religious movement like the Millerites and others who existed in the USA in the 19th century.

When I was in France I asked about policing there. It was explained to me that in France the police carry out policing on behalf of the people but in UK the police carry out policing for the government. Here we see a classic example of that, if it inconveniences the ruling class it won’t be allowed, if it inconveniences the peasants then it doesn’t matter. Simple really when you understand the way the system works.
Interesting contrast. It’s maddening that the police sat by and let these eco-extremists run wild but perked up when the extremists turned their attention to Whitehall.
Mustn’t stop the government from governing. What would we do without being governed?
It could be said that the way that we are being governed is not exactly the best advert for government.
Comparing the climate alarmists with the Millerites is spot on. Maybe Millerites could be new name for them, it would be great if it caught on.
The alarmists are not just like the Millerites but similar to every other end of the world cult including the Penitents who whipped themselves bloody in a doomed attempt to atone for the Black Death.
