Pakistani cousin marriage is a big big problem. It’s a problem not just for Pakistan where consanguinity is a massive issue with more than 50% of marriages are cousin marriages with the resulting health problems, but also a problem for Pakistani diaspora communities and therefore a burden on health services in the West.
