She’ll speak up for ‘Palestine’ but not much else it appears.

Kim Leadbetter MP

If there’s one thing that can be said to be politically consistent then it is the tendency of the Labour Party MP’s who represent Batley to engage in ‘Palestine’ Pandering’. This pandering is so consistent that I would go so far as to suggest that because the Labour Party needs the votes of Islamic Israel and Jew-haters to stay in power there, that Palestine Pandering is a price that Labour MP’s who represent Batley need to pay.

The late Jo Cox, her successor as MP Tracy Brabin and now the current occupant of the Batley and Spen seat, Kim Leadbetter, the sister of Jo Cox, have all played the Palestine Pandering game at one point or another and to varying intensity. Jo Cox was most closely associated with the ‘Palestine’ cause, with Tracy Brabin less so. But it seems that Cox’s sister is also quite willing to engage in ‘Palestine Pandering’ and crawling up the arse of Islam-related causes.

Kim Leadbetter has recently been shown making a speech in the House of Commons where she quite clearly shows whose side she is on and it’s not the side of the Israelis who suffer ongoing lethal attacks from ‘Palestinian’ terrorists and sporadic rocket attacks from Hamas and their associates. She’s on the side of the ‘Palestinians’, a group whose leaders have never missed an opportunity to choose violence instead of peace. Here is the screenshot of her headline comments about her speech and a link to the speech excerpt itself.

I must admit though that, judging by her performance in the Commons, she’s pretty good at making emotive speeches about those she, her voters and her party consider to be ‘oppressed’. It’s just a shame that she is not as good or as consistent in standing up for her constituents who are the victims of Islamic aggression. I don’t know about you but it would be refreshing to see MP’s like Ms Leadbetter speak up for those who the followers of Islam have violently threatened, for example the schoolteacher from Batley who is still in hiding from violent Muslims two years on from an incident where he was accused of ‘insulting’ the Islamic ‘prophet’ Mohammed during an RE lesson.

It’s interesting to see how Ms Leadbetter can be spurred into hand-wringing rhetoric about an ongoing conflict 2,300 miles away but has been noticeably silent on the issue of Islamic extremists hounding a teacher into hiding and putting him and his family in fear of their lives. In fact it’s more than interesting, it’s absolutely bloody disgusting. Kim Leadbetter’s habit of expending much breath on speaking about ‘Palestine’, whilst saying very little about a very real security and social cohesion issue on her front doorstep politically, does little to convince me that if I voted Labour, they would do anything other than continue to pander to the favoured causes of Islamic communities which is stuff like ‘Palestine’. If nothing else this latest interjection by a Labour MP on the side of ‘Palestine’ at least has the benefit on showing whose side a future Labour government would be on and it’s not the side of you, your family, the nation or even British Jews, for Labour when it comes to priorities, it’s just all Islam all the time.

  1. Zero surprise.
Given how often Labour Councillors (both Muslim and otherwise) turn out to be anti-Semites and given the size of the Muslim vote in places like Batley and Spen, then I don’t doubt that Leadbetter has similar views, the local party would select a candidate that was a “good fit” for them after all.
But are there any politicians who will really stand up to the Muslim mob?
Whilst we haven’t had a “Samuel Paty” incident YET, we have had the intimidation of the “Batley teacher” and worse the death and arson threats against “Koran boy” (I think they have had to flee their home, but I’ll stand to be corrected on that), so we are only one step shy of murder for ‘Insult’.
And let’s be clear: according to Sharia Law the death penalty should be applied for insult to Allah, his prophet, his book and his religion. And in the orthodox Muslim mind Sharia which is “divine law” trumps any man-made law, so it should not be a surprise when they enact it.
That said, another key element is how orthodox Muslims regard themselves in their locality.
If they think of themselves as “in Medina” (that is in a place where they are a relatively powerless minority) then Sharia will not be enacted because it could cause harm to the Muslim community. If they think they are “in Mecca” (that is they are in a position of power) then they will increasingly enact Sharia.
I would argue that the “Batley Teacher” and “koran boy” incidents show that orthodox Muslims in those areas are increasingly thinking of themselves as “in Mecca” – i.e. they have the power (even if only the power of the mob) to enforce Islamic norms on the surrounding populace. This view can only be aided an abetted by the Islamopandering of the Police and others and will, in the end, prove counter-productive.
Far too many of our “authorities” are engaging in Churchillian crocodile feeding.

Playing the ‘oppressed Palestinians’ card is a sure fire way to get the local Islamic headcases to vote for Labour. The problem is the pandering only begets more demands for further pandering. That pattern doesn’t only apply to Islamic head cases but any identity politics group who can shout loud and get votes out or Labour
