What a superb book I’m currently reading.

Books (Library picture)

I’m currently well on my way through Professor Matthew Goodwin’s book ‘Values, Voice and Virtue’ (ISBN13 978-0141999098) and I have to say that this book is utterly superb. I can easily understand why this book is a best seller in the political books field and also why it has enraged the members of Britain’s new elite of liberal leftists, Remaniacs, MSM journalists, race baiters, wealthy Labour Party supporters and others who come out as less than supportive of Britain’s working classes.

This is an incredibly data-dense book and that is why it is taking me a bit longer than usual to read as I want to be able to take on board not just the broad points that Professor Goodwin is saying, but also understand the detail. This book not only shows what has gone wrong with Britain but how things have gone so wrong.

There will be a comprehensive review of this book when I finish it which will probably be published in a week or two.

What I will say for the present is that this book is an eye-opener and one that is well worth buying for requesting from your local public library.

“enraged” You sound like a contributor to the Daily Wail

There are things in this world that are worth getting enraged about and its not confined to daily mail readers

Edit: Got a funny Daily Mail story for you. Back in the early 90’s I was doing a photography shift for the Mail and was covering a demo by a neo-Nazi group that the paper was going after for a critical piece. I got cornered by one of the Jackboot Lickers supporting the demo and when he was told I was working for the Mail I got a loud and incoherent lecture from him about how I was working for a Communist paper 🙂 The Mail! Communist! Very unlikely. Just showed how divorced from reality that guy was.

somehow I think the Remaniacs might have the last laugh. I’m reminded of the farmer from Northern Ireland who voted to leave………………

Maybe maybe not. There’s rising scepticism about the EU project not just in the UK but in places like France, Italy and Hungary. Economic travails might even propel scepticism in Germany.

Have sorted. What with the radio stuff and the internet stuff I tend to live in GMT/UTC and mentally correct when needed.
