The police are not warning us about the activities of the Methodists

The Metropolitan Police’s head of counter terrorism has put out a notice to the public to inform them to ‘be on their guard’ during the Christmas period and the run up to it.

Now why would that be? Although the article does not specify where the threat of terrorism during Christmas might be coming from I reckon that it is a safe bet that counter terror police are not worried about the Methodists going kinetically mental on the streets of London. That’s more likely to be followers of another faith based ideology but one that also begins with ‘M’.

The BBC said:

The head of the Metropolitan Police’s counter-terrorism unit is urging people to be vigilant while out in London ahead of Christmas.

Cdr Dominic Murphy told BBC London there was no evidence of a specific threat, but said officers were in a “heightened state of readiness”.

Officers will be on patrol at crowded spaces in the capital, such as Winter Wonderland.

This includes the force’s Project Servator officers.

The Met said they were “specially trained to spot the tell-tale signs that someone is planning or preparing to commit a crime”.

Cdr Murphy said: “While there is no specific threat to London, it is exceptionally busy over the festive period and the current threat level for terrorism is ‘substantial’ so everyone needs to be vigilant.

“People in London have literally helped us save lives by reporting their concerns to us. Please trust your instincts and contact us if something doesn’t feel right.”

In a statement, the force said about a fifth of the 13,000 national reports to counter-terrorism police were particularly useful to investigations, and many “had a significant link to London”.

It advised people to report anything they think is suspicious online, or to contact police – but to always dial 999 in an emergency.

What the Met counter terror officer is telling us, in a roundabout way of course, is that Christmas is more than likely to be the time when one or more of the 40000 mostly Islamic extremism suspects that are currently being monitored by police and security services, might suddenly decide to go full Jihad on innocent Londoners, again.

Thanks to extremist Islam it looks as if many Londoners will be having a shite Christmas rather than a White Christmas and instead of looking in amazement at the famous central London Christmas lights, they will be having to look out for sweaty Jihad addled Muslims carrying equally sweaty backpacks.

  1. “The Met said they [Project Servator officers] were “specially trained to spot the tell-tale signs that someone is planning or preparing to commit a crime”.”
Hang on! Is he saying that most Police AREN’T “trained to spot the tell-tale signs that someone is planning or preparing to commit a crime”?
Explains why the Police service is also shite for dealing with real crime but red-hot on nasty Xs.
