On the new Trans guidance for English schools.

I’ve been reading the press release put out by the UK government regarding children with gender based delusions in schools and I wanted to go through it and make some comment on it. This guidance is not perfect, the guidance is not statutory, there are likely to be loopholes that trans activists will almost certainly exploit and it also applies only to England, children in Wales and Scotland will continue to be fed gender identity bullshit.

Here’s the press release in question. It was published under the names of Gillian Keegan the Secretary of State for Education and Kemi Badenoch the Secretary of State for Business and Trade who also serves as the Minister for Women and Equalities. As is usual policy for this blog the original text will be in italics whereas my commentary will be in plain text.

Today (19 December) the Department for Education has published comprehensive guidance for teachers on how best to support pupils questioning their gender in schools.

The problem for me so far is the fact that this is ‘guidance’ and not law. ‘Guidance’ can be ignored or worked around by activist teachers and trans promotion groups.

This includes requests from pupils for ‘social transition’ which can include requests to change pronouns, names, and uniform.

My own view is that all these requests made by confused teenagers and younger children who have been influenced by pro-trans propaganda should be refused and not accommodated. I don’t think that it does any good to encourage belief in delusions such as gender changing. Saying no to some child who believes they are the opposite sex is no more harming than telling a continually chubby and unfit 14 year old that they are not going to be considered for the school’s gymnastics team. It’s the truth and sometimes truth disturbs a person’s ego.

In response to the complex phenomenon of the increasing number of children questioning their gender, the government has taken the time to carefully and robustly address the challenges and issues involved.

It is indeed a complex phenomenon and one where the first response to it should be ‘do no harm’ . Until it is worked out where this phenomenon is coming from then there should be a complete ban on the promotion or acceptance of trans ideology in schools. There is a cultural shift going on at the moment and many of the studies that trans activists have used to promote their cause, such as the claim that ‘transwomen’ have brains more akin to natal females, has been thoroughly debunked. There is now so much science that has been tainted by pro-trans bias and so many concerns about the beliefs, ethics, outcomes and impacts on society of gender identity ideology that a much stronger approach is needed to ensure that children are not harmed by gender identity ideology.

The guidance will assist teachers in ensuring that they are acting in the best interests of children.

Well let’s hope that this is what happens.

Education Secretary, Gillian Keegan said:

This guidance puts the best interests of all children first, removing any confusion about the protections that must be in place for biological sex and single-sex spaces, and making clear that safety and safeguarding for all children must always be schools’ primary concern.

Parents’ views must also be at the heart of all decisions made about their children – and nowhere is that more important than with decisions that can have significant effects on a child’s life for years to come.

Ms Keegan is correct here. Distinctions between biological sex must be protected. These distinctions and separation are there for damned good and sensible reasons. Safeguarding is a major issue for schools but it is becoming increasingly clear that the impact of trans ideology in schools has been to water down safeguarding. It’s right and proper that parents are fully involved in any discussion about gender identity. Never again should children and teenagers who are having gender image issues have those issues hidden from parents at the instigation of the trans activists that have infiltrated our education system. The negative impacts of gender transition treatments that range from acceptance of a child’s gender delusion are now becoming more well known and because of that I believe that no gender identity counselling or chemical or surgical treatment should be given to anyone under the age of 25 which is when the brain finally finishes development.

Minister for Women and Equalities, Kemi Badenoch said:

This guidance is intended to give teachers and school leaders greater confidence when dealing with an issue that has been hijacked by activists misrepresenting the law.

It makes clear that schools do not have to accept a child’s request to socially transition, and that teachers or pupils should not be pressured into using different pronouns.

We are also clear how vital it is that parents are informed and involved in the decisions that impact their children’s lives.

Again there’s not much for me to argue against here, apart from the fact that this guidance should have been law. We do have a problem with this issue being hijacked by trans activists, any look at what sort of stuff the transcult promoters are pushing on to teachers, schools and children could tell us that. I also agree that teachers have felt pressurised by trans activists and other staff who’ve been captured ideologically by the transcult to accept without question the delusions of Tik Tok addled teenagers into going along with the lie that the pupil is a different sex.

Ofsted Chief Inspector, Amanda Spielman

I have long called for clear guidance for schools who face difficult choices around how to help pupils who are gender-questioning.

This guidance is therefore welcome and will help schools do their best both for gender-questioning pupils and for all other pupils in their schools.

The main issue I have with Ms Speilman’s comment is that it assumes that children who are gender questioning is a real and proven thing. We have very little of this ‘gender questioning with school pupils up until about ten to twelve years ago which suggests very strongly to me that what we are dealing with here is less a real rise in people genuinely questioning their gender identity but something more like a social contagion .

Guiding principles

This guidance has been developed with the expert clinical view and interim conclusions from the Cass Review in mind. That review set out that social transition is not a neutral act, and that better information is needed about the outcomes for children who undertake degrees of social transition. It also set out that it could have significant psychological effects on a young person.

In recognition of this, proper use of this guidance means social transition, in practice, should be extremely rare when the appropriate safeguards are put in place and the child’s best interest taken into account.

Well said there. Social transition, that is the act of allowing a school pupil to dress as a member of the opposite sex and be treated as such is clearly not neutral. It reinforces the delusion that the child or teenager has about the gender self image. It is as if a school with a pupil with an eating disorder that drives them to avoid food treated that child’s delusion of being ‘fat’ as truth. A sensible teacher would not affirm a child’s body image delusion if that child had anorexia so why should they do so when the delusion is related to gender self image?

Importantly, the guidance places beyond doubt the fundamental principle that parents should be involved in decisions about their children’s lives, and that significant decisions affecting a child’s future should not be taken without parents being involved.

This is as it should be. The parents should mostly call the shots here. Whilst I accept that there are some parents who have bought in to the gender identity nonsense the majority would want what’s best for their children and that is to take an extremely cautious approach to a child’s declaration of any gender identity delusion. There needs to be an end to teachers going along with this crap just because it has been fashionable as the results of affirming children’s gender delusions is not good for children and young people.

In regard to single-sex spaces and sports, the government sets out the principle that biological sex is fundamentally important when it comes to protecting safety and ensuring fairness in competitive sports.

Yes. 100% agree there.

Requests for social transition

The draft guidance clarifies that schools and colleges do not have to, and should not, accept all requests for social transition. Where a school considers a request, they should take a very cautious approach, including watchful waiting periods, and ensuring parents are fully consulted before any decision is taken.

From the outset, schools and colleges should also consider the context and seriousness of the request including whether social influence is involved.

My own view is that no school should consider accepting requests for ‘social transition’. This is because it reinforces the child’s gender identity delusion and therefore makes the danger of further more radical action such as later surgery and cross sex hormone treatment more likely. I’m pleased to see that the guidance recognises that there is a strong social contagion aspect to the gender identity cult and that this aspect should be closely examined.

In exceptional cases where a request to social transition is agreed, children, teachers or staff at a school should not be required to adopt the use of preferred pronouns and there must be no sanction, verbal or otherwise. Where a teacher or child does not adopt the new pronouns, they should use the child’s preferred name. Schools should ensure that bullying is never tolerated.

Because of the piss poor outcomes for gender transition treatment as a whole and the need to divert children away from the gender identity cult, because it is damaging to the child and the school cohort, I’d like to see the number of ‘exceptional cases’ to be zero. Affirming a child’s gender delusion may, because there is a strong social contagion aspect to the cult of trans, encourage other children to do the same, especially if there is some perceived benefit for doing so such as more attention, changes to how the curriculum is taught or social acceptance with the ‘in crowd’.

Single-sex spaces, admissions and sports

Where safety is a consideration – for example in physical sport or single-sex spaces – the guidance is categoric that it must never be compromised by allowing a child of the opposite sex to participate in those activities or use those facilities. Schools should also make sure competitive sport is fair, which will almost always mean separate sports for boys and girls especially in older cohorts.

The guidance also reaffirms that single-sex schools can refuse to admit pupils of the opposite sex, regardless of whether they are questioning their gender.

Spot on there. Nothing much to disagree with there. Girls sports must be protected from males with delusions that they are females. Good also to see some help being given to single sex schools to allow them to refuse pretend girls or pretend boys.

Engagement

Parents, teachers, and school leaders are encouraged to respond to the 12-week consultation.

I think that everyone who is concerned about the negative affect of the gender identity cult in our schools should respond to the consultation. I believe that it is especially important for parents to respond to the consultation and in large numbers. I don’t think that hoping that someone else will speak up for us and our children should be the case here. This is because of the sensible parents don’t speak up then the loony troon transgender advocates will respond and we will end up with this dangerous pro-trans nonsense continue to be promoted in schools.

As I said at the beginning of this piece there are massive loopholes in this guidance. The first is that this is only guidance and not law and there are even now some teachers who are openly stating that they will disobey the guidance because they wrongly feel that the current system is ‘helping’ disturbed children. Despite the guidance parents need to be acutely aware that gender identity bollocks is still likely to be being promoted in both primary and secondary schools and to fight back against it.

To conclude, I think that the guidance is great, it’s what we’ve all been waiting for. However it does not go far enough. The cult of trans needs to be removed from our schools and this guidance is a first step to doing this.

I have been following this mass delusion of children for a while, to understand what on earth is going on & why ? It was interesting that the Tavistock & Portman clinic has recently closed down.
Then I understood why after viewing this video. Hope this helps.
Basically, rich men with creepy fetishes are destroying society.
