(Note: Some of what is written below might at the time of reading have been overtaken by events. However, the possibility of jokers promoting fake demonstrations and political groups creating hoaxes to get their opponents running around ragged is not something that should be discounted should similar situations arise)
The claims, that interestingly have only appeared in the mainstream media, that there were going to be 100 demos across the country by the ‘far right’, has as many of us suspected turned out to be bullshit. Those of us who actually know about the genuine far right and their capabilities knew this from the start.
So where did this bullshit originate? There are two possibilities. The first is the Government itself and the second is jokers of unknown political character feeding guff to a media which has long since lost the art of checking the information that they’ve been given. Let’s take the second one first.
There have I understand been incidents of mockery of Britain’s two tier policing coming from places like 4Chan where anons contact various UK police forces and basically take the piss out of the police with dubious complaints such as complaining how they are being disturbed by the noise from people fighting in the street. These dubious complaints then ended up in the hands of the media by way of police Press Officers. I’ve only seen a couple of those in passing on social media but they could indicate the existence of a more widespread series of jokers making spurious and mocking contacts with the police. With the propensity of people to jump up and down about stuff they’ve heard whether it’s true or not we now have a situation that is attractive to the sort of joker who has no ideology but just wants to watch the world burn.
In this vein there is also the possibility that those who oppose the idiotic Islamo-Left and who wish to show the public how bad they are and also to tie up the police with bullshit to illustrate the police’s often piss poor priorities have created fake demonstration notices that they’ve managed to get circulated among the Islamo-Left who have then gone off on the deep end, as they often do. Too many leftists have rigid thought patterns and would readily sign up for bullshit if it allowed them to virtue signal and cosplay ‘Battle of Cable Street’ for their peer group or for online clicks. If you don’t believe me about the rigid thinking of Leftists then go and have a conversation with members or supporters of the Cuba Solidarity Campaign (CSC) and you will find that not even the most solid and well sourced information that challenges the narrative of Cuba’s Communist government causes them to think differently. They would throw Cuban freedom and human rights campaigners under the bus if it was necessary to protect their ideology. Too many of the CSC types who I have chatted to over the years have not just been politically wrong or misguided but have in my view been malevolent.
We now come to the second possibility that it was our own government who has pumped this bullshit into the mainstream media environment for public relations purposes. There is the possibility that the government deliberately put out false information about the ‘far right’ gathering in various places in order to get the idiot Left out onto the streets so that the MSM could have ‘look at the thousands of people standing up to the Nazis’ type headlines everywhere. Now normally I’m incredulous about such claims and require a high standard of proof before I treat the allegations seriously, but in this case there is enough coincidental stuff going on around this seemingly spontaneous eruption of ‘anti racism’ to warrant writing about it. I’ll try to explain each aspect and why there might be some credibility to these claims and some background thoughts. There is certainly fuel for debate here.
Point one.
Nearly all the stories about this massive ‘far right’ demonstration campaign came almost solely from the MSM. This is odd. When you look at the usual suspects on the genuine far right or those adjacent to them like Patriotic Alternative and the sort of jackboot lickers that Tommy Robinson kicked out of the English Defence League for being real neo-Nazis, you know that they are not too shy of publicity. They publicise their demos online, the publicly discuss their ideology and their views. They are for all intents and purposes quite visible. They are so visible in fact that Leftists are easily able to lift their documentation or flyers from various sources online and off and use them to set up counterdemonstrations and have their usual two minute hate about them. If you go searching in the jungles of the online Left you might be able to find several different sources for information and discussion about the Left organising against the far right often using information that has been gleaned from these genuine far right sources. There’s been very very little of that with regards to the recent claims of 100 ‘far right’ demonstrations. These claims have nearly all come from the MSM.
The MSM have then whipped up a storm among the Left and various useful idiots (and yes I’m looking here at certain Rabbonim who will for the moment remain nameless) who then turn out in the streets to virtue signal. I’m afraid that at present we need to consider the possibility that what we have is not just almost completely identical headlines about ‘beating back the far right right across the MSM because of a lack of viewpoint differentials between outlets, but instead consider government inspired opinion manipulation. This possibility does have some foundation to it as it is not as if we have not seen this tactic in operation before. After all if a government can get large swathes of the country behaving like moronical performing Seals and banging pots and pans and cheering for a failed and sometimes unnecessarily lethal Communist healthcare system, then what else could this tactic be used for?
Point Two.
What we have here is a government that has lost control of the narrative. People are now openly talking about stuff that a year ago they might have been frightened about speaking of because of for fear of ‘hate speech’ laws or offending the DEI deities or who were terrified of social and professional ostracism. Now people are talking. They are talking about the failures of multiculturalism, the disaster of unchecked and incompatible migration, the collapse in public safety, the obvious bias in how we are policed and governed in Britain and increasingly mocking the Establishments language shibboleths of which ‘transwomen are women’, ‘diversity is a strength’ and ‘Islam is a religion of peace’ are but a few, both online and off. The government is desperately trying to regain control of the narrative and have less attention focused on the dire state of Britain (a dire state that Labour and the liberal Left have greatly contributed to) and if there was government involvement in pushing this false story then this would be why. Those in government and administration who hate you because you are working class or white or Jewish or an ex-Muslim critic of Islam or are gender critical or you wish to speak about the now obvious moral and social flaws in multiculturalism, want you to shut up. They want you to shut up because you are irritant to their Utopian ideas therefore it’s vital to keep talking. These cynical Utopianists are quite capable of getting the useful idiots out on the street to try to drown out your viewpoint (See description above of talking to CSC ideologues). The government want to get the narrative back to how they want it to be but hopefully it’s too late for that now.
Point Three.
This government despite it’s bombast and it’s recent use of the power of the state in a highly selective manner to take out those involved in disturbances and it’s too cozy relationship with legacy media, is much weaker than it first might appear. Politically it is heading for an electoral legitimacy crisis. Turnout at the last GE was pretty low and what we have at the moment is a default government, a government that is in place primarily because Conservative Party voters stayed at home in disgust at their party’s transition into the Lib Dems with blue ties. Others voted for Labour in the misguided belief that they would be more competent than the Tories which was coupled with the ‘there’s only two parties’ mindset among too many regular generally apolitical voters. Labour are therefore in government but are not popular. Labour Party high ups must be aware of this looming legitimacy crisis especially as Labour want to bring in numerous policies that the majority have, because this is a default government, not properly consented to especially in the areas of migration, public safety and energy security and availability.
It would not surprise me one bit that the current government policy of lashing out at Britons who speak up or who try to peacefully demonstrate or allegedly engaging in opinion manipulation is because Labour is so weak when it comes to public support. They know that a lot of Britons hate them or at best are unhappy with them and like the new bully in the playground are throwing their weight around. The government is weak, the Labour Party itself is weak because it no longer represents a large class of Britons only small and often minority based sectional interests and is led by a weak man who brooks no criticism rather than doing what a wise and strong man would do which is to listen to the criticism and evaluate that criticism properly. Sir Keir Starmer is the weak man who is going to bring us some very hard times indeed.
Concluding thoughts.
The attempt, whether it by government or jokers or the political opponents of the Left, to create fake ‘far right’ demonstrations clearly failed. Most of those who could be classed as patriots by which I mean that they care more for the country and its people than they do the Establishment’s Utopian narratives, stayed away from the towns and cities mentioned some fearing that it was some sort of trap to get them fighting with Antifa or one of the proliferating Muslim mobs and may have been correct to make the decision to be suspicious. What’s interesting to me is just how quickly this has all been revealed too be either a hoax or a pointless false panic. This may be down to the fact that there are more sources of news for people to consume now than there once was. This is no longer the land where people listen to or watch the BBC News or read the news in the Times and think with any sort of certainty that what they are seeing, hearing or reading has any relation with actuality. It’s now possible to check the veracity of MSM stories and many of us can now see the spin, see the lies by omission, the particular biases, the subjects that are taboo and now we can also hear the voices that the political and media classes would maybe prefer not to be heard.
Some people such as Carl Benjamin, Sargon of Akkad, called this as a hoax quite early on and counselled his followers to not take part in any demos and as time has gone on I believe strongly that he was correct to do so. There was something that didn’t pass the sniff test about this whole story. Those of us who know more about the real jackboot lickers than some know that this lot are a political irrelevance with nothing like the organisational abilities to kick it off in 100 different locations. They might be very good at online edgelordism and chucking out threats but less effective in the areas of organisation, finance and recruitment. Who the media and maybe the government as well said was behind these now provably fake demonstrations are not practically capable of doing so. It’s as much of a bullshit claim as the Govts claim of EDL involvement and those of us who saw the EDL on its last knockings after Tommy Robinson left it and when it was merely 50 disorganised drunks, know that the Government are lying about the EDL claim.
If the ‘100 far right demonstrations’ narrative was an opinion management tactic from the government then it has backfired. It has backfired because people opposed to the government’s narrative refused to take some very obvious bait. It has also backfired because it brought out onto the streets all the awful middle class left who hate the ordinary British people. It brought out the Jew hating Greens and the Janus faced Liberal Democrats. It brought into public view the client journalists, shredding the last vestiges of credibility they had and it brought out the ‘Chickens for KFC lot, sorry I mean Queers for Palestine for good measure. Most importantly it brought out the violent Muslims and Antifa types who in at least one place, Croydon I believe, rioted and looted among themselves when the claims of ‘EDL’ and ‘Far Right’ turned out to be remarkably Unicorn like. If the general public didn’t quite know where the sources for our current problems were coming from then they do now, it’s the sort who turned out to cosplay antifascism yesterday.
I think that things are going to get infinitely worse over the next few months. As a former public disorder photographer for the press I believe that the main disorder will probably die down of its own accord over the next few weeks. However I very much doubt that public anger will die away, there’s been too that has happened for that. There have been too many ‘diversity’ murders, communal violence (often from one particular community), obvious examples of politicised and bent two tier policing and a greater understanding by the public of the massive gulf between the governed and the government. The government’s response to challenge in areas that they really really need to be challenged on will be to be knee jerk oppressive, after all they are socialists and that’s what socialists always do wherever and whenever they’ve governed. The problem with that approach is that it creates the very thing that tyrants greatly fear which is mockery, pushback and more individuals who start to feel they have little to lose by standing up and speaking up. The government may well find that by trying to only cure the symptoms of Britain’s problems and not the diseases it suffers from that, as in places like Ulster in the past, it could create martyrs among the innocent and such martyrs will become rallying points for (hopefully peaceful) extra Parliamentary opposition.
The ‘Starm-fuhrer’ is going to create some interesting times and there’s a need to hang onto our hats in anticipation of a very bumpy ride.
