Sadly, and probably to the chagrin of many of the normal working people in Bristol, it’s the students, hippies and, as Mr Gareth Roberts calls ‘middle class-holes’, who have landed the people of Bristol Central with the lamentable, economically and geopolitically illiterate Carla Denyer. I have met all manner of decent normal people from Bristol but the Left and the Greens have helped to cement Bristol’s unwanted reputation of being a crime and communism riddled shithole.

Agree there. These ‘watermelon’ greens are a nightmare for normal people wherever they again power. The concentration of Greens in areas with universities is a good argument for making students vote in their home town rather than their university town.
