Rejoice, rejoice, the leader of the brutal Islamic government in Iran Ayatollah Ali Khamenei is finally dead. He’s apparently been killed in an attack by Israeli forces whilst at a meeting with other senior leaders of Iran’s Islamic government.
The regime that Khamenei led has been the one that since 1979 has sponsored Islamic terrorist groups across the world and which has also brutally oppressed its own long suffering people.
Those of us who are older remember the horrors of 1979 in Iran. We remember the way that the Islamists in Iran came to power with the assistance of naive Iranian leftists who were promptly murdered not long after the Mullahs came to power. We remember the brutal Iran Iraq war that killed hundreds of thousands and which might never have taken place if the old regime of the Shah of Iran had still been in place. We also remember the capture and brutalisation of American Embassy workers in Tehran, the failed attempt by the Carter Administration to rescue these captives and the murder of embassy workers.
The removal of Khamenei is good news for the world but especially for the Iranian people who have lived under the boot heel of extremist Islam for far far too long.
It’s going to take a while for the regime in Iran to fall even with the removal of Khamenei but with him gone the chances of the Islamists keeping hold of Iran is lessened. The regime can still strike back but a major symbol of the Islamic regime’s power has gone.
It should be hoped that if the regime finally falls then it may lessen the funding and support for Islamic terrorist groups that operate in the Middle East and elsewhere. But we should not sit back too far on our laurels. Iran probably has a whole lot of clean skin operatives living in Western nations, including the United Kingdom and the United States and they might be activated following the death of Khamenei in order to wreak revenge on the West. It could be likely that the West suffers an uptick in Islamic terrorism carried out by Iranian terror cells in our own nations and we all need to be on our guard against such attacks.
In time we will probably get to hear much of the details surrounding the Israeli action against Khamenei and they are likely to be spectacular because of the detailed planning and execution of this attack. Israel has done a brilliant job of taking out one of the worst Islamic monsters on the planet and for this they should be praised.
Two groups that will not be happy with the death of Khamenei are the radical Muslims in the West and Western Leftists. Both these groups are hateful of anything that is Western and are already screaming about the death of Khamenei. I say let these morally bent leftists and jihadists cry and scream. The more that they cry and scream the more they show themselves whose side they are on and how that side is clearly not ours.
One of the worst death cult inspired savages on the entire world is now no more and we should be thankful and joyous about that.

Rumour has it that Satan has a no Muslims rule, wanting to keep Hell on an even keel with no challenges to his rule. The Devil has enough on his hands with a place full of the worst of the worst.
