For at least a decade I’ve been warning of what might happen should governments continue to ignore the public’s concerns about immigration and Islamic religious extremism. These warnings make up this blog’s ‘I told you this would happen’ strand. I have unfortunately been proven to be largely correct. A failure by mainstream parties in places like the UK to act on people’s concerns about migration in general and imported religious extremism in particular and deal with these problems in a political way would I predicted not have good outcomes. It would I said create mobs and a greater danger of kinetic extra-Parliamentary activity. As someone who has had experience of being in mobs when I was a public disorder cameraman for the Press, I’m none too keen on mobs as mobs are none too choosy about whether they target the guilty or the innocent.

We’ve seen two recent incidents where Britons who feel that they’ve been ignored by the Establishment over the issue of mass migration from incompatible cultures and have taken up extra-Parliamentary activity.

The first was in Dover, the major shipping port for England, when a group of masked men blocked roads and managed to greatly disturb the activities of this port. The blocking of roads looks to me to be a relatively new tactic by groups opposed to mass migration on the British mainland and is something that has primarily been seen in Ulster in connection with their peculiar issues. In Ulster groups have created widespread issues by having very mobile teams to block multiple streets stretching police resources and taking these resources away from any core protest. The masking is clearly a tactic borrowed from far Left groups like Antifa and it is a big indication of government and media hypocrisy that government and media is crying louder over the use of masks at Dover than it has when masking has been an Antifa tactic. There were no arrests at Dover but this might be down to the group having effective INFOSEC depriving the police of intelligence and catching the police off guard with new tactics and protest methods.

There were similar scenes in Portsmouth a few days later when the contents of an invader filled mega-dinghy was offloaded there. Hundreds of people, local and otherwise, took to the streets when news started to circulate that a large group of invaders was being offloaded at Portsmouth. Protestors chased away a van that had pulled up near the landing point in order to give out ‘meal deals’ to invaders and the police allegedly according to Turbulent Times tried to disembark the invaders on a quieter bit of the port. Unfortunately it appears that this quieter bit was only reachable by a single road and that road got blocked by anti invader protestors thereby preventing the coaches carrying the invaders from getting out. Police brought out riot gear to deal with the protesting Britons when they have not done that when the BLM lot or the Hamas fans have kicked off and that difference is and has been noted.

I hope Dr North of Turbulent Times is wrong when he quoted a commentator as saying ‘if you want to know what the start of a civil war looks like, this is it.’ It might not be the first shots in a civil war but we are certainly seeing new protest tactics and a greater willingness by anti-invader protestors to have mobile and effective instead of static and ineffective protests and the police getting largely caught out by this change. It’s likely that things will escalate there will be a draconian response by the Government and this response will increase public anger and create a cycle of anger and draconian response which is not good in the long run.

What galls me greatly is that all this could have been avoided and avoided by the mainstream parties. If the Tories had listened to their voters and cut instead of expanded migration and had had a robust early plan to deal with the Channel Invasion then we might not be here. If Labour had remained a party for the workers and not the shirkers, middle class identity politics enthusiasts and the Islamic extremists and had been more aligned with ordinary Britons over the issues of migration and Islam then we also might not be here.

We could have had a sensible political settlement and one that benefited the British people from the main parties over the issues related to migration but we didn’t get that. Instead we got the demonisation and sometimes criminalisation of those who pointed out that the open borders emperor had no clothes. We could have had a peaceful political solution to migration and related problems and if we had then we might not be seeing the scenes that have appeared in Dover and Portsmouth.
