Quote of the Day 10th September 2026 – The failed state that is Britain.

I saw this comment by Muncii92 over at Harry’s Place and immediately agreed with it. It was made in the context of foreign commentators mocking Britain as a failed state. I agreed with it because to a large extent it is correct. Britain is either on the way to being or has already achieved failed or failing state status.

It’s difficult to disagree with what Muncii92 says here especially if you step outside of the mainstream media for any information about the United Kingdom. It’s even more difficult to disagree with if you are forced to use any of Britain’s public ‘services’ whether that be Britain’s Health Service or education or any service provided by local or national government. If you choose to speak up about Britain’s many problems you run the risk of being criminalised . The ‘services’ provided by the state are sclerotic, difficult to access even in a relative emergency situation and governed by a beauracracy that works for itself rather than the British people. Some aspects of the state are dominated by ideological absurdities that have the potential to create individual and communal atrocities.

Yes, Britain is well on the way to being a failed state.
