The Muslim Council of Britain has an annual propaganda event when it holds a ‘Visit My Mosque Day’ or a ‘Visit My Mosque Week’ as it has now morphed into. This event appears to be designed to convince Britons that Islam really and truly is a ‘religion of peace’ despite the extremely high death tolls that the followers of Islam rack up across the world when compared to the death tolls created by members of other faiths. If you were wondering about that death toll, then the August 2026 Islam-related death toll was as following: 109 terror attacks in 34 different countries resulting in 523 dead and 457 injured. Verily this is the work of a ‘religion of peace’ (do I need a sarcasm sign here or not?). I have done a search and can find no verifiable examples of Christians or Jews engaging in lethal violence for religious ends, a bit of localised aggro of course but nothing like the level of terrorist attacks that we see from the followers of Islam.
I of course will be taking no part in this propaganda event, no more than I would take part in an event celebrating Nazism or Soviet Communism or join with the Stalin Society in celebrating the monster who slaughtered millions of Soviet citizens. I would however gladly take up the offer of tea and cakes from the likes of Dr Taj Hargey of Oxford who is truly a moderate and thoughtful Muslim or visit the mosque in London run by the peaceable adherents to the Aga Khan’s version of Ismaili Islam. However I will not take part in this bullshit organised by the Muslim Council of Britain.
I tell you who will take part in this ‘Joseph Goebbels-like’ activity. It will be Leftists, Labour MP’s, local authority workers and others of that ilk who want to burnish their multicultural credentials and protect themselves from cancellation by other Leftists who might attack them for being insufficiently Islamophile should they consider not attending this propaganda festival. I’m none of those so I’ll give it a bit of a miss.
What I do predict however is that the aftermath of this propaganda festival will be copious articles, memos and statements by the above-mentioned Leftists etc saying how wonderful the Visit My Mosque week was. We will be ‘treated’ to lots of articles in taxpayer-funded local authority ‘Pravdas’ about the ‘wonderful friendly reception’ they had in the mosques taking part and how much they’ve learned about Islam, although I doubt that they will be informed about Islam’s issues with Jew hatred or its misogyny or the negative affects that some forms of Islam and some Islamic cultures have had on the United Kingdom.
‘Visit My Mosque Week’ is a propaganda exercise no more and no less. It’s no different from Leni Riefenstahl’s ‘Triumph Of The Will’ and should be treated as such by those who haven’t lost their capacity for critical thinking. Just as ‘Triumph of the Will’ was a film made to enhance the public image of the Nazis, so ‘Visit My Mosque Week’ is an event designed to make the highly tarnished image of Islam also look good.
