From Elsewhere: The Hidden Truth Behind Islamic ‘Enrichment’

Another excellent and thoughtful piece from Paul Wilkinson on the Cherson and Molschky site.

“….. uncontrolled and unwanted mass Muslim immigration is not ‘enriching’ our Western societies. Additionally, apart from the cultural aspect, we are actually paying a huge financial burden for this colonisation, via the extraordinarily high unemployment rates amongst Muslims. For example, “Somali, Bangladeshi, Pakistani and Iranian immigrants are likely to be 81%, 56%, 55% and 48% economically inactive respectively.”

“While there is some variation in employment rates among different religious groups, the most significant gap is for Muslim people who have the lowest rates of employment in the UK. In the UK only 47% of Muslim men and 24% of Muslim women are employed.”

So 53% of Muslim men and 76% of Muslim women are economically inactive. That is truly staggering when compared with the latest overall economic inactivity figures in the UK of 16.7% male and 24.6% female. This is costing the British taxpayer as much as an estimated £13 billion a year in welfare payments, and the story is also repeated in Germany, Denmark and throughout Western Europe.

In the current economic climate, we also have the cost of trying to monitor home-grown Islamic terrorism and spend an estimated £12 billion every year on foreign aid- mainly to countries that either hate us or spend lavishly on space or defence programs. We cannot afford this Muslim immigration in terms of the Islamic culture, nor can we afford it financially. So can anyone write a serious article about how Muslim immigration has enriched Britain? I know I can’t!”

  1. Those numbers are incredibly high. We have few Muslims on the west coast of Canada (mostly Chinese and Sikhs) compared to the UK or other parts of Canada. The Iranians seem like a fairly well off subset (I have no stats, just going by the few I’ve had contact with).

Do the stats include women, I wonder.

Yet, they’re having problems in eastern Canada, but I just read an article in Toronto’s major newspaper by a former Liberal pol, saying we should greatly increase our immigration, blah blah blah. Disgusting.
