There are some stories about the arrogance and intrusiveness of some of the organs of the British state that make one gasp and stretch ones eyes. This particular example of a state agency nakedly pushing a political agenda is one of those stories.
According to the Brietbart website, inspectors from the educational standards agency, Ofsted, have closed down one Christian school and put another into ‘special measures’ on some of the most spurious of grounds. These ranged from a secondary school pupil not knowing what Lesbians do, and because a boy said ‘terrorist’ when asked what he knew about Muslims. Many parents may think that it is their job to choose as and when they decide to tell their children what Lesbians do together, it should not be the job of the schools. Some, myself included, think that Islam has only itself to blame if it keeps getting associated with things like terrorism, gang rape, sedition, misogyny etc etc therefore a school should not be punished for one boy commiting a thought crime in the eyes of the inspectors.
This is an outrageous misuse of power by Ofsted and also an example of Ofsted nakedly pushing an agenda that is looking like it is very anti-Christian. When you put school closure and the bullying tactic of ‘special measures’ next to how Ofsted has treated Muslim schools, and also how they have dealt with the Trojan Horse scandal, it certainl seems as if Ofsted are treating Islamic schools favourably, when compared to these Christian ones.
In some of Britain’s Muslim schools, or state schools that have been influenced by Islam, there has been some of the most horrible promotion of sedition, outright misogyny and children being brainwashed to hate British culure, but many of these schools have not been shut down. It is unlikely that these Christian schools that have been targetted would have anything like the sort of problems we see occurring in Muslim dominated schools, yet they were closed or put on supervision with what looks like great haste and very little evidence of genuine problems.
This is what Brietbart said about this worrying story of state over-reach:
“Inspectors have labelled pupils at a Christian school bigots and forced it to close after a young boy gave the wrong answer when asked what a Muslim was. Teachers at the school say he referenced terrorism in his answer, but argued that one child’s throwaway answer was no ground for closing the whole school.
Durham Free School, which currently educates 94 pupils aged between 11 and 13, was praised by former education secretary Michael Gove when it opened in September 2013, the Daily Mail has reported.
But inspectors visiting the school last November, after the new guidelines encouraging inspectors to rate schools on how they promote ‘British values’, deemed the school to have failed on a wide range of factors. “Standards are low and progress is inadequate. Students’ achievement is weak”, inspectors wrote.
The school will now close at Easter as the current education secretary, Nicky Morgan has withdrawn funding. But teachers say that they were unfairly penalized for placing a Christian ethos at the heart of the school by inspectors who wanted to demonstrate that they were promoting the Government’s diversity agenda.
In their report, the schools inspectors concluded: “Leaders are failing to prepare students for life in modern Britain. Some students hold discriminatory views of other people who have different faiths, values or beliefs from themselves.”
But teachers say that this view was based solely on the words of one 12 year old boy who, whilst taking part in a group discussion, was asked about Muslims. His answer made reference to terrorism.”
The cudgel of ‘special measures’ and its whiff of the ‘re-education camp’ has been applied to another Christian school despite its noted record of academic achievment. Brietbart added:
“Meanwhile, nearby Grindon Hall, another Christian school, has been placed in special measures despite achieving the best school leaving exam results in the area. The school’s head, Chris Gray, made an official complaint to inspection group Ofsted following their most recent inspection, in which pupils were asked whether they knew what lesbians did, and whether their friends felt trapped in the wrong body.
The line of questioning angered parents, with one mother reporting that her daughter was “disturbed” and “upset” by the “wholly inappropriate” manner of questions asked.”
There will be many parents who would concur that these questions were inappropriate ones to ask of children and young people and it makes me wonder about the motivations and agenda of those who asked them. What is there to be gained by grilling teenagers about issues surrounding gender and sexuality when many of them are going through a puberty that is makes them both confused and vulnerable about such things?
It certainly seems to me as if Ofsted went into these schools wanting them to fail. They appear to have carried out their inspections with the specific intent of sniffing out thought crimes carried out by Christians. This is an example of unacceptable pressure being put on Christians by the state to cease being Christians and to stop bringing their children up as Christians. It is wise to compare the kid glove treatment that many of the Trojan Horse schools got from Ofsted with the swiftly administered kicking that these Christian schools got.
It should be noted well that Ofsted have been attacking Christian schools like these in such an overt way since Nicky Morgan became Education Secretary. She has failed to get a grip on the far-Left educational Establishment, and actions like this just show how far she has surrendered to what the former Education Minister Michael Gove, called ‘The Blob’.

Do Ofsted have a remit over the backstreet Madrassas that spring up wherever there is a Muslim community? Do they regulate the hours that Muslim kids attend them, on top of the actual school day? Do they investigate the apparent widespread use of corporal punishment in them? Do they check the qualifications and credentials of those who are employed to teach in them? Do they monitor the curriculum to ensure acceptable levels of awareness about ‘diversity’? Answers on a postcard, please……….

Meanwhile, in the ‘Indy’:
A formal complaint about the incident, obtained by The Independent, alleged that the teacher had “expressed his desire to purchase t-shirts with cartoons of the Prophet Muhammad as a way to challenge Muslims who are offended”.
The report said the teenager, whose parents have asked that he remain anonymous, was the sole Muslim in his class and had felt “unfairly targeted and belittled” by the discussion.
