Now why could sexual harassment in Brussels be so high?

The Grand Palace in Brussels, a building situated in a city that is becoming increasingly unsafe for women to navigate.

I was stunned to read a report published earlier this month on the Politco website about the astonishing levels of sexual harassment that is occurring in the now heavily Islamised (approx 15% of the population Belgian capital of Brussels. The report on Politico (h/t ROP) showed that 9 out of ten women in the city have experienced some form of sexual harassment.

Politico said:

According to the study, 88 percent of women surveyed reported experiencing sexual harassment in the streets of the Belgian capital. Half of the respondents said they had faced physical violence, Dutch-speaking media De Tijd reported Tuesday.

The report also stated that one in three of the women who had been assaulted or harassed are still struggling with the aftermath. Reading this report really does give the impression that certain women’s rights, such as the right to walk freely around the city without being harassed or sexually assaulted, seem to have been all but abandoned in parts of Brussels.

This growth in harassment and especially street harassment of women seems to be a relatively recent development and is probably linked to the rise in the number of Muslim men and orthodox Islam in Belgian society. It seems to be a given that when a society imports those whose religious and cultural beliefs are heavily infused with extreme misogyny, then women’s safety starts to suffer. We have seen this in other countries such as the United Kingdom where a rise in the amount of Islam in a particular area corresponds with greater increased dangers on the streets for women, especially non Muslim women.

I find it almost impossible to believe that the indigenous Belgians have suddenly taken leave of their senses and have acquired the sort of misogyny that drives these incidents from some mysterious aether, this phenomenon comes from Islam. This news of the reduced safety of women in the Brussels area stinks of Islam it really does and it stinks of the foul gyno-hatred that this cursed and backward ideology called Islam is based upon.

It should anger people, especially those who know that it took centuries of struggle to achieve emancipation for women and for societies to accept and treat women as equals, to see 9 out of ten women in a Western capital suffering sexual harassment and assault. It should arouse even more anger to find out that a nation like Belgium not only cannot keep its own female citizens safe in their own capital, but that the authorities are effectively standing by and squandering the gains made by women in order to virtue signal about how ‘diverse’ and ‘multicultural’ they are by tolerating the Islamic ‘religion’ of intolerance.

The police response to this rise in sexual assault and harassment is pitiful to say the least. They are bringing out an app that will allow victims to report crimes so that the time and location can be noted. This is an utterly pointless displacement activity. It’s just not a serious way of approaching this problem it really is not. It is no use making reports of such crimes to the police if the police and the politicians who command them will not tackle the root cause of these problems. The shocking levels of sexual assault and harassment on the streets of Brussels will never get better while half-hearted attempts to paper over the cracks like this are all that is on offer. Unless the Belgian government grows some balls and starts to be honest about where the sexual assault and misogyny is most likely coming from, the followers of Islam, then Belgian women will continue to live in fear of the harassers, gropers and rapists that Belgium has both imported and nurtured.
