The You Tube commentator Sargon of Akkad has for a while now been running a series entitled ‘All cultures are beautiful’. It is a way of mocking the liberal Left’s claim that all cultures are of equal worth, equal stature and equal when it comes to morality. They are very effective pieces of mockery and each video is narrated by Sargon, using a very deadpan voice, over the sort of images that would not be out of place in a nation’s tourism promotion programme.

This offering is called ‘The Penis Thieves of Burkina Faso’ and concerns one particular belief of what is a backward and superstitious country, the belief that men can have their penises stolen by the means of witchcraft. At least one man has been lynched by angry crowds over accusations that he magically removed another man’s penis.

I don’t know about you guys but I’m going to scrub Burkina Faso off of my list of potential holiday destinations, just in case I accidentally bump into some undereducated moron who then accuses me of magicking his genitalia away. Besides that I’m pretty attached to my junk and I don’t want to visit a place where people think it could be removed either by magic or by some other method.
