Another ‘diversity’ murder?

I’ve never been one to have a go at people on the grounds of the things that they cannot change such as race, gender or sexuality. None of these things have, in my experience of dealing with people, any bearing on whether people from such categories are good or bad as individuals. I’ve seen people of all colours and sexualities and both men and women do both good and appalling things to others and they have behaved in the way that they have not because of their skin colour or sexuality or sex, but the content of their character.

I’ve seen and experienced too many instances of individuals who are of an ‘out group’ to me do me favours, when I may have expected them not to, for me to think in a lazy manner and classify them as good or bad depending on their congenital characteristics. However, the culture and or ideology that someone follows is not something that a person is born with is another matter, culture and ideology is something that is acquired. These are things that a person can examine and either accept or reject as individuals. Individuals are not bad because of their skin colour or the sex or sexuality, sometimes they are bad because their upbringing in bad ideologies or cultures has made them that way.

It is the knowledge that some people are the product of bad and dangerous cultures that sprang to mind when I read about the appalling murder that has taken place recently in Manchester. According to a report in Sky News, a man, described as of ‘Somali or Asian heritage’, stabbed a young man repeatedly in the leg causing his death. This murder is a direct result of importing people from cultures that are noticeably more violent than our own. Somali men (although to a lesser extent Somali women) are known for their violent behaviour and the word ‘Asian’ is often used in Britain as a codeword for ‘Muslim’. I doubt that this stabber was from one of the more peaceable Asian groups such as Buddhists or Hindus and Muslims, like Somalis, have often been implicated in acts of street violence.

A young man is lying dead on a mortuary slab because idiots in our political classes thought that nothing could go wrong by being ‘culture-blind’ with regards to whom they allowed to migrate to the United Kingdom. The result of such ‘culture-blindness’ has been that Britain has imported a great many violent individuals from places where violence is part and parcel of the general culture especially Muslim majority countries such as Pakistan and Somalia.

It is right and proper that migration decisions are not done on the basis of skin colour or sexuality or gender. To do so would be morally wrong as it would be judging someone on the basis of something that they cannot change. However for a state to take the attitude that the culture does not matter when assessing those who migrate is a state that is storing up huge problems for the future.

A man is dead because someone in the Home Office thought that someone from a Somali or Muslim backward cultural background could be successfully integrated into the UK without problems. How many more people in this country will die before those in charge of immigration realise that culture matters when it comes to integration? It is all but impossible to integrate those from hostile cultures into the UK and dangerous to even try. This is yet another death that can be laid at the feet of those who order us to ‘celebrate diversity’ even when that ‘diversity’ contains murderers, rapists, terrorists and those who pray for our destruction.
