Sajid Javid lied – The Channel Invaders are NOT being deported

Did this man, a former Home Secretary, lie to us about the deportation of illegal Channel invaders? It certainly seems to be the case.

When the phenomenon of illegal and possibly dangerous migrants crossing the English Channel in small boats started to gain publicity, former Home Secretary and now Chancellor of the Exchequer Sajid Javid called the crossings ‘a major incident’. The then Home Secretary put funds into drones and other equipment to monitor these crossings and said that he would ‘tackle the people smugglers’ and work with French authorities to prevent these crossings. Sajid Javid also, according to a report in the Independent newspaper dated 24th January 2019, that the government would prevent those who make illegal channel crossings settling in the UK. Javid said: “We will do everything we can to make sure that you are often not successful.“

Well, it’s now October and it seems that Sajid Javid has been a bit economical with the truth over the matter of deporting illegal migrants who arrive by boat. Javid has been all mouth and trousers over these invaders and during his term in office as Home Secretary did very little to remove these invaders from Britain. I hope that the new Home Secretary Pritti Patel, who is very much the immigration hard liner, will do better than Slippery Sajid has done in this area. Unfortunately I believe that she is going to be hampered by Home Office civil servants who have in my opinion been overly influenced by Leftist pro-migrant groups like Citizens UK and their offshoot organisations. This partisan pro-migrant culture in the Home Office can be seen in this department’s refusal to tell the press exactly how many illegal migrant invaders have arrived via a cross channel journey.

The failure of the Home Office to remove these illegal migrant invaders has been revealed in a recent Sky News article. This article showed that their research, using police records and information from local contacts, has found that of the 1,416 illegals who have arrived in Britain only 6% or 85 of this number has been deported. It also appears, at least from the example that the Sky story gave, that those who arrive illegally are not being housed in secure accommodation, but instead are being scattered throughout the United Kingdom.

Both the piss poor level of deportations and the fact that these illegal migrant invaders are being dumped, at our expense, across the country, are complete scandals. Not only did Sajid Javid and the rest of the Home Office staff fail to deport these invaders, although they promised to do so, they have also let unchecked migrants, some of whom may be highly dangerous, reside in our communities. There is a lot for Britons to be angry about in this story. Firstly over the fact that Javid and the rest of the Home Office have lied to us about the promise that these illegal migrant invaders would be sent back swiftly. The second matter that should elicit justifiable anger is that these illegals, who are currently having their asylum status examined by the Home Office, have been plonked in our streets and among our families. We have no way of knowing whether the ‘refugee’ that Javid’s Home Office ‘distributed’ around the country are terrorists or rapists or other hardened criminals whom Britain could well do without.

Javid has lied to the British public about government policy regarding these illegal migrant invaders. He told us they would be turned back but instead just allowed them in. Unfortunately this is not the first time that Javid has been, in the words of the late Alan Clarke MP ‘economical with the actualite’. Back during the furore about the lone nutter who sent the ‘Punish a Muslim Day’ letters and fake chemical weapon attacks, Javid claimed that he had received one of these letters and published a picture that he said was of that particular letter. Unfortunately it was swiftly pointed out by various commentators including myself, that the picture that Javid had said was of his copy of the letter, turned out to be a press release picture put out by the dodgy ‘Islamophobia’ monitors of the Tell Mama group.

These illegal migrant invaders should, as the government promised they would, been sent back to France. That they did not do so shows that the Home Office and Home Secretaries like Javid have utter contempt for the British people.

What’s also noticeable in this tale of potentially dangerous migrants being allowed to enter the UK is the bad behaviour of French authorities. They seem to be turning a blind eye to these crossings despite agreeing with the British government that the French government would cooperate in stopping these crossings.

I hope that after Brexit more will be done to prevent these crossings, even if it takes hard interdiction by the military in order to do so and that these illegal invaders are taken back to France and any French protests about this action are ignored. We’ve all been let down here. We’ve been let down by Javid, by the wider Home Office and by the French authorities, it’s time that this changed.
