Disgustingly lenient sentence meted out to appalling Islamic savage for axe attack on non-Muslim man.

The absolute prerequisite for a Justice system to have the confidence of the public is that it must be equitable, not corrupt and issue penalties that fit the seriousness of the particular crime in question. This concept of justice goes back a long long way to Biblical times in fact. The Biblical book of Deuteronomy states in 16:19 that ‘Do not pervert justice or show partiality. Do not accept a bribe, for a bribe blinds the eyes of the wise and twists the words of the innocent.”

A recent case from Rochdale illustrates how badly the British criminal justice system has fallen from that lofty ideal, at least when it comes to the matter of showing partiality. In the case in question a Muslim savage armed with an axe, chopped off the hand of a young man, and got away with a derisory and overly lenient sentence.

The case revolved around a Muslim who was harassing an elderly woman in the street, an incident that was seen by a group of tree surgeons as they passed by. The group of tree surgeons stopped and tried to intervene to both protect the elderly woman and act as peacemaker to try to calm down the incident. The Muslim savage at the centre of this incident, Habibur Rahman, objected to non Muslims intervening in what he considered his ‘Muslim area’ and said that he felt ‘disrespected’ by the group stepping up for the elderly woman. He then gathered a large group comprised of twenty other Muslim thugs, including one named Awais Sajid, who turned up with an axe. Other weapons that the Muslim savages brought to this altercation included a claw hammer, knives, machetes, a knuckle-duster, according to reports in Breitbart and the Manchester Evening News.

This gang of Muslim thugs then attacked the tree surgeons whilst screaming at them that they were ‘white bastards’. During this vicious and unnecessary attack Awais Sajid aimed his axe at the head one of the younger members of the non-Muslim group, an eighteen year old man, but the young man shifted his position and the axe hit his wrist instead of his head. The man was left with life changing injuries after his hand was severed at the wrist. The reports say that this man will never regain full use of his hand. This injury occurred after Sajid had hit the victim with the axe in the chest. It is notable that in this case the Crown Prosecution Service did not, as they could have done, treated this as a racially motivated attack and thereby increase the severity of both the charge and the subsequent punishment. The question we must all ask is why did Greater Manchester Police and the CPS not go down this route even though the motivation for the attack was plainly racial?

This aspect of the attack carried out by the savage called Sajid, could quite easily have garnered him a life sentence under Section 18 of the Offences Against the Person Act 1861, as this attack was quite clearly intended to cause Grievous Bodily Harm. However, the Judge in this case, Judge John Potter sitting at Minshul Street Crown Court, chose instead to give Sajid the laughably lenient sentence of 18 years of which it is likely that this savage will serve only nine. Others in the gang also got significantly lenient sentences ranging from four and a half years to three years. As is normal with determinate sentences in the UK at present, it is likely that these terms will be halved. This means that at least one of these thugs will be out on the streets again in a mere 18 months.

Sajid should have got a life sentence as I have little doubt that swinging an axe at someone’s head shows a distinct intent to do serious harm of the sort that would warrant a life sentence under Section 18. He was also part of a gang that engaged in a nasty attack that had obvious racial overtones. Both of these factors should have contributed to Sajid getting much more than 18 years, in reality nine years and this case will raise concerns that these Muslims have got these relatively lenient sentences primarily because they are Muslim. Another interesting point regarding this case is that although Greater Manchester Police have released pictures of many of the savages who took part in this gruesome attack, they have refused to release any picture of Sajid. Now why could that be? Are they protecting him for some reason? Is he facing other charges unrelated to this case? Or is his image being hidden for some other reason for example connections with powerful Muslims in the GMP area? We don’t know and for the sake of clarity and openness GMP should either release an image of this violent savage or explain to the public why they are hiding his picture.

It is quite possible that if the boot was on the other foot and a gang of non Muslims had attacked Muslims in a similar situation then the sentences meted out would be much much harsher than those given to these Muslim thugs. I would not have been surprised to see life sentences handed out along with a minimum of five to six years for the lesser offenders had Muslims been the victim of a similar attack. This case leaves a really nasty taste in the mouth and it is the taste of judicial and prosecutorial pandering to Islam. These sentences, and especially the sentence on Sajid, are in my opinion overly lenient and I hope that there is pressure put on the Ministry of Justice to increase these sentences by a significant amount.

These Muslim thugs seem to have got off remarkably lightly bearing in mind the sort of injuries that have been caused. The result of this case will do nothing to give the public any confidence that Britain’s criminal justice system is as just or as unbiased as it should be.
