At last someone takes a sensible and proportionate action against the WHO

As the Chinese Covid19 virus pandemic continues it has caused more attention than normal to be paid to the World Health Organisation and its by now obvious failings. The crisis has also brought more attention to China’s baleful influence over the WHO which is the second largest contributor to the WHO’s budget after the United States of America.

This influence by the Chinese Communist Party over the WHO is likely to be behind many of the organisation’s failures with regards to Chinese Covid19. China also seems to have been behind the appointment of a non-medical man, Tedros Adhanom, as head of the organisation, something which would explain why the World Health Organisation went so easy on China during the early sates of the Covid19 outbreak in Wuhan in China. Chinese influence also is behind why warnings to the world from Taiwan, which China considers as a ‘rebel province of China’, about Covid19 were ignored by WHO and why Taiwan is excluded from the WHO itself.

Most nations and leaders have done or said little about this overt and corrupting influence over the WHO by China, with one big exception and that is President Donald Trump of the United States. He’s quite rightly, in my view, decided that it is counter-produuctive for the USA to give so much money, the most of any individual nation, to the WHO only for it to be corrupted and manipulated by the Chinese Communist Party. Mr Trump has therefore instructed the US government to cut the USA’s funding of the WHO.

This decision has of course really upset the political Left with the Guardian newspaper in the UK calling the funding cut by Mr Trump as ‘an act of international vandalism’. The paper is also highlighting past glories of the WHO such as the joint US and Soviet effort to eradicate Smallpox. But, the eradication of Smallpox was way way back in the past, in the late 1970’s to be precise, and it’s plainly obvious that the WHO is not the organisation that it once was. It is now dominated by Communists of the very worst sort. Communists which put people in concentration camps, which disappears doctors who blow whistles about virus outbreaks and where there are credible allegations of prisoners being killed for their internal organs that are then sold to the wealthy including those in the Arab world.

When faced with the question: Why should we pay for those who have lied to us? President Trump has replied with the answer and that is that Western nations should not continue to pay for these corrupt liars, incompetents and Chinese placemen who now control the World Health Organisation.

Like many others I do worry whether or not this funding cut will impact upon the WHO’s other work such as that on HIV/AIDS, Malaria and Ebola and other health challenges in places like Africa? But it is not beyond the wit of man that donor nations could fund this healthcare work directly and not funnel their money through a by now thoroughly bent organisation such as the World Health Organisation.

It is my belief that Mr Trump had either a positive or a neutral view of the WHO at the beginning of the Chinese Covid19 emergency but this has changed over time. The continual revelation about the corrupt influence of China over the WHO may be a contributory factor in why Mr Trump has become more and more negative about the activities of the WHO.

The WHO once did good work and still in certain areas does contribute to healthcare work in many impoverished nations. But there must be better ways to do this than via an organisation where the senior staff appear to have been bought and paid for by the Chinese Communist Party.

  1. The UN also needs a good looking at for similar reasons

I agree. It started out as a good thing but has descended into a talking shop controlled by dictators and retarded Islamic regimes. I have some sympathy for the idea that the democratic nations should abandon it and form their own international organisation

I love the sight of snowflake heads exploding in the mornings! Stand by for incoming, Mr. Trump.
