This blog’s ‘Now That’s Why Pakistan Is A Shithole strand has previously covered the disgusting phenomenon of Muslim men kidnapping underage Christian girls, forcibly converting them to Islam and then marrying them off to much older Muslims. This problem has sadly not gone away. Christians are still being targeted by Muslim gangs who snatch Christian girls and enslave them into Islam and forced abusive marriages.
According to a report published by Premier Christian Radio in the United Kingdom (h/t ROP), a 14 year old girl was kidnapped from her workplace in the Punjab region by armed men. It is feared that like so many other Christian girls she will be forcibly converted to Islam and then subjected to rape and abuse in an equally forced Islamic marriage.
Premier Christian Radio said:
A 14-year-old Christian girl has been abducted by an Islamic gang in Pakistan. The youngster, Myra Shehbaz, was reported to be taken from Madina Town, located in the Faisalabad district of Punjab, on April 26.
International Christian Concern reports that an armed gang attacked Shehbaz as she travelled to her workplace, forcing her into a car. Myra attempted to fight off the assailants, but they overpowered her. Eyewitnesses said they were helpless to save the young girl because her captors were armed and began firing shots into the air.
Nighat, Myra’s mother, told ICC that she is terrified her daughter will be raped, forcefully converted to Islam or even executed.
I can completely understand Myra’s mother’s concern about this. The abduction and forced conversion to Islam is a fate that has afflicted at least 1000 girls from the minority Christian and Hindu communities every year. Many of these girls disappear forever and few are ever returned to their families.
This case is yet another reminder that Islam, despite what its proponents say, is NOT a genuine ‘religion of peace’. It should also remind us that Pakistan is an intolerable shithole created and sustained by the governing ideology that dominates this benighted country, the ideology of Islam.
