Britain’s security seems to be in the hands of those who could not organise a piss up in a brewery.

Usman Khan the woefully unmonitored Islamic terrorist who killed two people at London Bridge in 2019

I’m absolutely astounded by the revelations in a recent report about the handling of released Islamic terrorist prisoners that was compiled following the second jihad attack on London Bridge which saw two people murdered by the savage Usman Khan. According to a report in the London Evening Standard, the government investigation into the handling of post sentence terrorist prisoners found that Islamic extremists who had been released after completing part of all of their sentence were just being put into London communities without local police or other interested parties being informed. Borough commanders were not being told that there was a terrorist in their midst and neither were religious organisations that could be targets of Islamic terrorism nor were mosques who could monitor released extremists.

This is a complete and utter cock up that should never ever have happened. At the very least Borough Commanders should have been informed that bastards like Usman Khan were on their patch. As someone who has volunteered to do door security at a synagogue I would very much appreciate being told whether Abdul the Exploder was living nearby and what his record was as it would enable me to do a better job of keeping people safe. It’s quite right that those who need to know should know whether the bearded Asian guy hanging around is nice Mr Khan the Ahmediyya or Ismaili Muslim who just wants to be friends or someone who gets a boner for Osama Bin Laden and wants to kill people.

The Evening Standard said:

Terrorist offenders are being freed to live in London without local police commanders being told they are there, the government’s terror watchdog warned today in a new report which exposes serious flaws in the handling of convicted extremists.

Jonathan Hall QC said the failure to disclose the identity of the released convicts was surprising and was occurring even though local officers “ought to be well placed to spot odd behaviour and feed relevant information back to counter-terrorism police.”

He says that not only should the terrorists’ presence in the area be passed on but that it should also be shared with “vetted organisations providing security to places of worship” such as synagogues and mosques so that they “look out for particular individuals or registration plates” and raise the alarm when necessary.

I think that to describe the failings in monitoring released Islamic terrorists as ‘serious flaws’ is a bloody understatement. It is catastrophic ineptitude of the highest order. Did not the agencies involved in monitoring these prisoners release give any thought to what might happen? Did they not wonder, even just a tiny bit about whether these prisoners should continue to be monitored? It appears not. These prisoners were just dumped in unsuspecting London boroughs where they could either continue to radicalise, either in solitude or in concert with others and in the case of Usman Khan, plot further terror offences.

The policy of let them out and forget about them with regards released Islamic terror prisoners is directly linked to the deaths of two people at the hands of the savage Usman Khan. It is not beyond the realms of possibility that more Britons could die because of this monumentally stupid policy. I can’t think of any valid reasoning by the various Home Office agencies for this policy. Was it just the usual issue of the state screwing up something that should basically be common sense or is it that those tasked with monitoring these prisoners didn’t pass on information that was part of the public record for fear of ‘Islamophobia’ claims? If it is the first reason then it shows us what we already know which is that the state is incompetent when protecting the average citizen. However, if it is the second reason and details were not passed on for ‘Islamophobia’ accusation fears then it’s much worse. It shows that the state and those who work for it are more worried about ‘offending’ the community from which these Islamic terrorists are spawned, than the security of the nation and that means that these agencies need root and branch reform. It’s both frightening and depressing to think that a major security issue, that of monitoring released Islamic terrorist prisoners, has been left to those who plainly could not organise a piss up in a brewery.

  1. Errm not too sure telling the polizei the cat is out of the bag is a good thing. Would have thought it might have been better to keep them locked up and keep society safe, or even deported might have been better. I mean dangerous criminals released and protestors against lockdown locked up??? Something definitely wrong here.

I would prefer these violent savages to be kept locked up or preferably removed from the UK. The problem is that with those with determinate sentences eventually they will be released and it is only right and proper in my view that those convicted of Islamic terror offences and then released after their sentences, should have their presence in an area notified to the local police etc. This is so that if they do go ‘Full Islam’ and engage in extremist behaviour this can be picked up early rather than waiting until they self detonate on a train or something. Like you I have noticed the kid gloves way that allegedly former jihadists are treated and how those who challenge the increasingly unpopular lockdown are treated.
