I’ve had a quick look at the manifesto for the relatively newly created Heritage Party which has been set up by David Kurten, a candidate in the next Greater London Mayoral election which is to take place next year.

It’s an unashamed socially conservative party and quite unlike the pseudo-conservatives that misrule over us at the moment. It is favour of the traditional nuclear family, intellectually vigorous education, free speech and the repeal of ‘hate speech’ laws and asks some awkward questions of the increasingly communistic ‘green’ movement.

I feel that if what the manifesto says is what the party actually means and stands for, then this is a party that I could actually vote for. As a Britain prioritising party it has none of the awful Jackboot-licking aspects of groups like Patriotic Alternative and neither is it a party with an undercurrent of authoritarian secularism which I see the For Britain party as having.

We do need to remove the un-scientific gender knobwittery from our schools, we do need to protect and advance freedom of speech and we do need to support and prioritise two parent families via the taxation system. It is also a party that recognises that excessive mass migration has damaged Britain both economically and socially. About the only thing I can see that I disagree with on first reading of the manifesto is their aim for Britain to be self sufficient in food. Personally I can’t see that being practical as we have a population that is now way beyond what could be fed from our own agricultural land.
