From Elsewhere: He might be a lefty but he’s a man of honour.

Glenn Greenwald may well be a man of the Left but he’s also a man of honour. Unlike many on the Left he is at least willing to stand by his principles and in this case stand up for freedom of the press. According to the report below and also other reports, Glenn Greenwald has resigned from The Intercept, a journal that Mr Greenwald himself founded.

The NTD news site said:

Journalist Glenn Greenwald announced that he’s leaving The Intercept, a publication he helped found, due to perceived censorship of an article regarding corruption allegations surrounding Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden.

Greenwald posted a resignation letter on Twitter on Oct. 29, saying editors at the left-leaning publication refused to publish an article of his unless he deleted “all sections critical of Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden, the candidate vehemently supported by all New-York-based Intercept editors involved in this effort at suppression.”

The journalist, who helped break news on classified NSA surveillance programs leaked by former contractor Edward Snowden about a decade ago, asserted that The Intercept’s decision and his choice to resign shows there is a trend of “repression, censorship and ideological homogeneity plaguing the national press generally have engulfed the media outlet I co-founded, culminating in censorship of my own articles.”

I may not agree with Glenn Greenwald’s politics, but I certainly agree with his stance regarding freedom of the press and the danger of suppressing stories such as that of the Bidens.

The laptop isn’t only about Hunter & Joe Biden. It’s about the largest money laundering scheme in history by government employees. It’s about selling our influence, jobs and security to hostile actors. American sovereignty will be lost without a shot fired if this treason is allowed to continue
