Quote of the Day 12/01/2021 – The brass neck of this useless officer

The woman who is possibly the worst ever Commissioner of the Metropolitan Police that I’ve seen in my lifetime, Dame Cressida Dick, has been whining greatly about how the public is ‘unaware of its duty’ to follow the covid restrictions. What a crock of crap. The average member of the British public has been remarkably compliant in what are confused, ever changing and often useless and ineffective rules.

However as Julia over at Ambush Predator has pointed out, it’s not the public who are lacking in knowledge, it’s more often than not police officers.

Ambush Predator said:

The people who seem unaware of the laws mostly seem to wear uniform these days, while they pick the low hanging fruit and ignore the people who write their paychecks. You can’t even get your approach co-ordinated

Spot on there Julia. This whole covid debacle has had a particularly nasty defining feature and that is of police officers behaving like idiots and by doing so losing what little respect they had from members of the public.

Dame Cressida should never have been promoted to the position that she now holds. After her massive and lethal cock up when she led the team that ended up killing an innocent man in mistake for a terrorist, her subsequent promotions should have been blocked. Since becoming Commissioner her tenure has been marred by political correctness which has included allowing her officers to take the knee to BLM/Marxist thugs and to make what I believe are dishonest statements to the Greater London Authority about how rape gangs have always been a part of British society possibly as a way of diverting attention away from the problem Britain has with specifically Islamic Rape Gangs. Her statement to the GLA that ‘we’ve always had this problem’ is not reflected in for example execution rates for rape in the period 1800 to 1837 when rape ceased to be a capital offence and a period where there were reasonably accurate records of crimes and punishments.

  1. She may prove to be the worst Head of the Met, given the incredibly poor performance of senior officers in the Met that must be considered to be quite an achievement. To be that bad she must really work at it!
    Remember Ali Dizai?

  2. Remember Lord Hogan-Howe? He’d be even more thuggish to public with these new impositions

However, Dick is an incompetent PC SJW zealot and should have been sacked after her De Menzes murder

Hogan-Howe was pretty awful and an outright politicised officer. However even he would not be as incompetent as Dick

  3. The one to fear is the truly dangerous Asst Commissioner Neil Basu, the man who wants to jail journalists. I tore him off a strip at a meeting of Harrow Safer Neighbourhoods Board accusing him of making up the law to suit his agenda, using the appallingly badly drafted Public Order Act & Terrorism Acts to justify acting like thugs. I also accused him publicly of not treating people equally under the Law so as to give himself an easy ride while going after soft targets who can’t fight back and wouldn’t call him racist or “phobic”. I got the only applause of the evening in a predominantly non-white audience. Basu must NEVER be allowed near that job. For his disgusting thuggery and mishandling of lawful protests, he should be sacked.
