Troon arrogance on display.

During my life I’ve encountered more than a few transvestites and transsexuals. Most of those of this persuasion that I’ve met have been decent individuals who did their thing without harming others. Most of the transsexual individuals I met back in the early to mid 90’s just wanted to keep their heads down and get on with life without attracting undue attention and their transition was to be quite frank a last chance saloon for them psychologically. For them it was the misery of transition set against the misery of a gender dysphoria that was resistant to other forms of treatment which is a real Hobson’s Choice. As for the transvestites well they did their thing in their own homes with the knowledge or ignorance of their female partners or socialised at specialist clubs where they changed into drag when they entered and changed out of it when they left. None of them bothered me nor did they bother any of my girlfriends or female friends, they really did keep themselves to themselves. By necessity, because attitudes were different from today, they were very circumspect and because of that would never dream of putting themselves in situations where they garnered attention from people who were outside of the small groups who understood them. They knew that to do this would invite a whole host of possibly negative consequences.

But, as they say, that was then and this is now. No longer are those who are motivated by autogynephilia and similar cross dressing fetishes confined to specialist clubs and parties or have any sense of public probity and appropriateness, transvestites are out there, in people’s faces and without the consent of others who might have to witness acts of transvestism. Those who undertake medical and surgical transition are no longer content to live quiet lives and only be in specifically women’s spaces if women individually invite them. There is no culture of circumspection among those who call themselves trans whether they be transsexuals or transvestites and in its place is a sense of supreme arrogance. Transvestites and transsexuals, many of the latter not even having any sort of surgery to turn them into the simulacra of women, demand access to spaces that are quite rightly and for very good reasons are reserved for women and care little about whether actual women are discomforted or disadvantaged by their actions.

A good example of the new found arrogance of those who claim to be transgender can be found in a recent Twitter (or should that be X.com now) thread. An obvious male in a dress claimed that he attempted to gain access to the female changing room at a Mercure Hotel in Sheffield in the North of England. The transgender claimed that he wanted to use the hotel’s swimming pool and tried to use the key to the changing rooms that he was given to access the female changing rooms. The key didn’t work and a female hotel worker told the trans identifying male (TIM) that he had been given a key not for the female changing rooms but for the unisex ones. The TIM was upset about this and took to Twitter to rant about his experience.

This is what the TIM said on Twitter

I am so fucking angry. I’m at the Mercure Hotel in Sheffield and i fancied using the swimming pool. I couldn’t get my locker key to work on the ladies. Turns out the assistant had ‘assumed’ I wanted the unisex changing room. With me dressed like this.

He then published this photograph of himself in a dress.

The TIM then added:

It has quite spoilt my day. This is the first time anyone IRL has treated me as if I am not a woman. I know i don’t pass, you know i don’t pass but decent people accept the rule of self identity. If in doubt then find a polite way to ask, don’t assume.

I have to say before I continue that this is clearly and obviously a man in a dress.

There’s clearly no consideration on the part of this TIM about the rights of women not to share without their consent intimate spaces with males or of girl children not to be confronted with an adult male in a state of undress. In my view the hotel worker made the correct call here. The worker allowed the TIM to access the swimming facilities by using the unisex changing facilities but also protected women and girls from being afflicted by the unwanted and unasked for presence of a male in their rightfully sex segregated space. This is because there is no ‘rule of identity’ to apply here. This is a man in a dress and therefore had no business being in a women’s changing room.

Allowing the TIM to use the unisex changing facilities was in my view a reasonable accommodation. This course of action of offering the unisex changing room was one that did not deny the TIM access to the swimming pool but also protected the girls and women who may have been using or wished to use the female changing rooms.

Unfortunately this TIM didn’t want to accept this reasonable accommodation, one which should have been quietly and pleasantly accepted, as it would have been accepted by many of the transsexual and transvestite acquaintances that I have had in the past. He immediately went for the arrogance and did so in such a manner that it makes me wonder whether the major motivation for wanting to use the female changing facilities was not merely to get into his swimming costume but so that his delusion that he is a ‘woman’ would be validated both by the hotel staff member and by any females that might be using the changing room at the time?

The hotel worker in my view did the best thing and made the best decision for everyone which allowed this individual to use the pool but wouldn’t put women and girls in an awkward and maybe frightening situation. However this arrogant TIM could not and would not see this. Instead he demanded that the hotel worker was put through ‘re-education’ in order to behave differently next time.

The TIM said:

Thank you, I have calmed down now and I’ve asked that the lady in question is sent on a DIE course but is not punished. She thought she was doing the right thing. I’d rather that beneficial lessons are learned rather than the only legacy being memories of a grumpy old trans woman.

I’m gobsmacked at the utter arrogant and unacceptable cheek of this TIM to demand this. Nobody, whether they be hotel staff or workers in any other area should have to face such re-education in order to get them to voice the lie that men can become women and vice versa. Humans are not giant redwood trees who reproduce asexually we are divided into men and women and are different but equal in worth. We cannot change that which makes us up, we can’t change our DNA, we are as we are created at conception.

I really hope and pray that this hotel worker is not victimised by their management merely because they acted upon the true evidence of their own eyes and saw this person for what they are, which is a male. I also hope that this hotel and its management is not in thrall to the cult of trans and forces the worker to be re-educated into accepting or at least acquiescing to the lies that too many transgender types want the rest of us to believe. Wider society is not there to validate the delusions of gender cultists like this one. Instead I’d like to see this worker praised for doing the correct thing in what must have been for them a tricky situation. The reasonable accommodation of the offer of the unisex changing room was correct and they did not deserve having a Troon with an unreasonable attitude publicly kicking off at them as he did. Too many people are at present silenced by fear of what might happen if they acted upon obvious truth and treated TIM’s as males and it is heartening to see that one hotel worker in one hotel at least, has stood up for objective truth and for the safety, comfort and security of women and girls.

Postscript:

This case has gone somewhat viral and I’m pleased to say that the MSM has taken an interest in it which will probably cause a lot more people to get to ‘peak Trans’.

  1. Yes, but attempting to look at it rationally trans people have a right under the 2010 UK Equality Act to access a single sex space in line with their gender identity unless a specific exemption has been granted to it under the Act.

If we don’t like it we need to pressurise to repeal the Act or at least support it’s ‘clarification’.

No it’s not gender identity it’s gender transition that is covered by the EA.

The EA was such a bone of contention and contains so many potential tripwires that the Tories should have repealed it on day one when they took office alone and not part of a Coalition in 2015. We already had well working provisions for equal pay, disability rights and protection against racialism prior to this dogs breakfast passed just before the last Labour govt fell.
