I’ve seen lots of upsetting things online over the years but seeing the singer Alison Moyet being hounded off of social media because she stood up for Britain’s Jews is particularly so. I’ve admired this woman’s voice for much of my life and still have in my loft the life-sized cardboard poster of her that in my early twenties I, with permission, liberated from a record shop in Maldon, Essex and to see her monstered by ignorant Jew haters and Leftists is wrong.

Ms Moyet got completely monstered off of Twitter by Leftist and Islamic Jew haters. This is also what is happening to many much less well known non-Jewish supporters of Israel’s war against the beasts of Hamas. People, many of whom are not committed supporters of Israel, but instead are disgusted by the behaviour of the Islamic beasts of Hamas and are speaking out against them, are being consistently attacked online by the fifth column of Islamists and Leftists that successive British governments have allowed to grow.
Got to laugh. These celebrities think they can say what the want and people will clap and applaud their wisdom. Most celebrities are just not worth listening to and those that are, as in this case, just don’t have the balls to face any criticism.
Look at J.K. Rowling. She is still doing fine because she has the balls to face her detractors and continue. One of the few celebrities doing so.
If people like Ms Moyet cave in at the first hint of negative feedback then it is another feather in her opponents hat and it encourages them. In reality it is worse than a single comment whatsoever as it will make others not speak out. You would think with all he money she should have been able to stand up for longer. How pathetic.
Normally I laugh at empty headed celebs venturing into controversial subjects. However I don’t think this would apply to Ms M. She was expressing genuine concern for Britain’s Jews and got monstered by Muslims and Leftists for doing so. I don’t think that she realised the depth of hatred that a lot of Muslims and much of the far left has for Jews. I think she spoke in good faith and bot piled on by bad faith types.
