It’s the 80th anniversary of the D Day landings in Normandy.  Others are going to write much about this day but I just want to say that we shall remember those who fought and died during the Normandy landings. Those who fought and those who did much to supply and support those who fought have bought us the freedom that have today. Their courage and sacrifice marked the start of the defeat of Nazi Germany.

We shall remember them.
