From Elsewhere: Suffolk Police impale teenager on spiked railings.

Before I begin I would ask you to consider the contained video as NSFW due to the footage of police violence against an innocent teenager.

In Britain today there are a whole host of people who do good for their communities but never get the credit they deserve. Such people are the ones who run community organisations or help those in need or go out of their way to highlight and if possible right the wrongs they see in society. One person who in my view occupies the third category of those who go to great lengths to right societal wrongs is Rob Warner of the Crimebodge website and his YouTube channel.

For well over a decade Mr Warner has documented police misbehaviour, corruption, misuse of powers, violence and more. Some of his output also highlights that there are in our police forces too many individuals who have a psychological unsuitability for policing work. He has also exposed the many failings and indeed biases towards the police that exist in the so-called standards organisations that are supposed to support the public when they encounter rogue police.

I’ve featured Mr Warner’s work before but I felt it right to give voice for my appreciation of him. His advice has benefited both myself and others when we’ve had dealings with the police. His advice has helped people to avoid questionably legal searches, when and where a police officer can be refused entry to a premises, the laws that police sometimes misinterpret, how to properly complain about police and if necessary bring civil actions against forces and how to get and interpret the results of Subject Access requests for police bodycam footage, radio traffic transcripts and much more and also how to find out what information police may be holding back for their own mysterious and maybe nefarious reasons. Rob Warner is a man who should be supported because he supports you.

One of Crimebodge’s most recent uploads is regarding an incident where an innocent teenager was roughed up by some of Suffolk’s ‘finest’ and then impaled on an iron railing causing significant injury to the boy. The police officers then stood around near the bleeding teenager and spent time cobbling together a cover story about why the boy was injured. They did this and prioritised this carnival of dishonesty instead of getting the injured boy medical attention.

As Mr Warner explains in the video, the injured boy decided to put in a complaint to the police but the police misdirected the complainant towards a complaint route, to the Police and Crime Commissioner, that would not have got this young man justice. An internal inquiry, as expected, found no fault with any of the officers involved and we have a situation where rogue police have escaped accountability yet again.

Here’s the video. It’s not what I could be suitable for sensitive people or sensitive environments but it’s evidence of just how awfully some police officers treat members of the public.
