I’ve seen numerous Prime Ministers come and go over the course of my life and in particular since I became politically aware at about ten years old. There was nearly always some form of hope that the new Prime Minister might not have the faults of the old and that applied whether or not the Prime Minister was changing due to a General Election or because a party had changed leaders during their time in office.
But there is a difference when it comes to Andy Burnham. Nobody I talk to is expecting Burnham to be any better than Starmer in fact they are expecting him to be much worse. I tend to agree with those who are cynical about Burnham. I don’t for one minute believe that he will do what is necessary to improve the nation’s economy nor tackle immigration or the social breakdown that is in part caused by excessive numbers and inappropriate types of migration.
I’m not expecting much in the way of improvement from a Burnham government in fact I’m expecting things to get much much worse than they are already.
I agree, and particularly because Burnham is so far up the arse of the “Prophet-of-peace” for the votes in so many small majority monoculture constituencies that keep so many Labour MPs in their seats (for now) until the numbers are such to put their own lot in and that’s already happening.
Naturally the King-O’-the-North has gone the full Pimp4palestine route asthat plays well with the institutionally Jew hating fascist-left that infects labour like a particularly virulent cancer, as well as the vile white middle-class leftist keffiyeh gen’o’cide tea towel sporting Islington and Brighton types.
Added to his clear refusal to see that his old failed student union ideas cannot and have never worked, is seemingly determined, particularly with the lunatics mooted for his woodworm ridden, crumbling “cabinet” and hard-left appointees,I can only see serious decline, hardship and serious unrest ahead.
I hope I’m wrong, but I haven’t been yet.
