The M1 shutdown. ‘Part and parcel’ of modern life according to the likes of Sadiq ‘Saracen’ Khan.

The tail back caused by the closure of the M1 when a suspicious item later identified as Hydrochloric Acid was found next to the motorway

On Tuesday of this week we were given a demonstration of just how much the presence of extremist Islam is changing our lives and stretching our security agencies. A suspect item containing a ‘chemical substance’ later discovered to be Hydrochloric Acid, which was found beneath a bridge over the M1 motorway near Milton Keynes ended up closing the road for about 7 hours. The police eventually determined that the device was not suspicious and wasn’t connected to Islamic terror. But, because police have to be absolutely sure that the item wasn’t going to go ‘bang’ or scatter noxious chemical or biological materials about the place, the police have to be cautious before they re open the road.

The result of the ‘suspect item’ was a lot of inconvenience and probably a considerable degree of financial loss for those who may be travelling on business or moving perishable cargo. It is a stark illustration of the sort of aggravation brought to our shores by extremist Islam and its adherents that London’s Mayor Sadiq ‘Saracen’ Khan arrogantly tells us we should just put up with as it’s ‘part and parcel’ of city life.

The threat posed by violent Islamic extremists is now so great that what might have in reality been the result of a bit of flytipping, has to be treated as if it is the sudden appearance of a viable Islamic terrorism device. The ruined business, leisure and family trips that were caused by the suspect item on the M1 are a direct result of the Government’s failure to properly deal with Islamic extremism, a failure that goes right back to the John Major years and possibly before. The various governments did little to stop religious extremism taking root in Islamic communities and the result is the current problems of violence and social disturbance. It seems that since the Rushdie Affair, the priority for governments of different stripes since that time seems to be based around appeasement and pandering to the very same Islamic communities that are producing, nurturing and concealing.

The M1 closure incident and the extreme steps that the police took to try to ensure the safety of innocent travellers shows that some police officers at least appreciate the seriousness of the threat that we face from Islamic terror. It is a marked difference to how the politicians often treat this threat which is to offer up mindless platitudes such as ‘keep calm and carry on’, empty threats such as ‘enough is enough’ and downright grotesque lies such as ‘Islam is a religion of peace’.

I predict that because of the very large number of jihadi sympathisers that seem to be both resident and accepted in Britain’s Islamic communities the we will see a whole lot more of the sort of disruptions that we saw on Tuesday. There will be obviously be false alarms when, for example a member of the public mistakes a dumped vacuum cleaner part for a weapon of mass destruction, but there will also be many more cases where Islamic jihadis in order to cause disruption either do plant IED’s or make false bomb threat calls to the authorities. The police have no alternative but to treat all such reports as credible, at least in the early stages, which will no doubt end up with significant disruption to transport and to the economy.

Unless the government grows some balls and calls the enemy by it’s proper name, Islam, then we will probably see more of these disturbances along with the increasing body count which will mount up from future Islamic terror attacks. The time for equivocation or appeasement or being nice to Janus-faced taqiyya spouting Imams by Government needs to end and instead they need to protect the rest of us, for a change. A government that cannot protect it’s people from those who wish it harm them or to forcibly change a nations character, is not a government worthy of the name.
